The Chichester Diocese Group to the 2026 Walsingham Children's Pilgrimage is open to all children aged between 7 and 11 (year 6). Fr Josh Delia, Fr Timothy Newton and Mrs Vicky Townsend will lead a team of adult leaders to England's Nazareth for an exciting weekend of fun, worship and activities.The weekend will include: fun workshops, drama, music, arts & crafts a disco party and of course, great worship with young people from all over Britain - all set in the beautiful and holy Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham, England's Nazareth.
The ticket prices for 2026, which include all main meals, accommodation for the weekend, and T-Shirts for children, are:
Child Pilgrim (No transport) £104
Adult helper (No transport) £138
'No transport' means that you will be responsible for making your own way to and from the Shrine.
Child Pilgrim (including transport) £130
Adult Helper (including transport) £160
Transport to and from the Shrine will be in Mini-buses leaving on Friday morning, from a convenient point in Chichester Diocese, and returning on Sunday afternoon.
A £20 per person deposit is required to reserve your places for the weekend, please click on the 'Book Now' button and select the number of tickets you wish to reserve in each category. The balance will be due two weeks before the start of the Pilgrimage.
Pilgrim Safety
Children will stay in safe secure accommodation in the shrine.
All adult leaders will have been DBS checked and include both male and female leaders.
Members of St John Ambulance will be present at the Shrine throughout the pilgrimage.
