Gardens of Easton Lodge 27th June Open day
Open between 11am and 5pm. Last entry 4pm. Refreshments available.
Visitors need tickets in advance for those over 16. Dogs on leads welcome. Limited tickets for arrival time slots. Season ticket holders and Friends of the Gardens do not need to book, just show your card at the entrance. Priority parking for visitors with disability.
Jono Forgham hopes to have barn owl pellets for dissection and moths to show and release. He will also lead nature tours in the Gardens, looking for bugs and identifying bird song and butterflies observed. Essex Bat Group will have rescue bats to see including our largest bat, the Noctule (who they have named Norbert!).
There will be a plant stall, jams and honey and our garden produce.
Detailed arrangements will be in place to ensure we cover government Covid 19 guidelines.
Locally sourced bacon, cheese or hummus rolls; homemade cakes; and hot and cold drinks will be available until they run out – or till 4.30pm.
