Big Band Play Day
NCBF Play Day
Led by big band consultant Barrie Johnson along with other professional tutors, the day will explore a selection of big band charts in different styles by Gordon Goodwin, Alan Baylock, Fred Sturm, Steve Weist and our newly listed UK composers, including Ed Puddick.
Depending on how many sign up there could be one enormous big band or split into two bands based on experience and ability.
Refreshments included!
To get the best out of the day, it is advisable to be of at least Grade 5 performance standard.
