Price:

£110 for whole school tickets (this ticket covers as many people in your school who would like to attend online).

There are also a limited number of FREE places available on a first come first served basis for SENIOR LEADERS (Heads, Deputy Heads, School Business Managers, Marketing and Communication Directors and Managers) who take part in our Supplier Showcase Session.

The Supplier Showcase will take place on Wednesday 15th March for approx. 80 mins between 12.30am and 2.00pm and give you the opportunity to hear from leading suppliers to the sector matched to your areas of interest. These sessions have been classed by 92% as CPD in their own right.  You will hear five quick 12 minute presentations from companies who work within the sector - your details will not be shared with any of these companies without your permission.

Suitable for: Marketing, Admissions, Communications and Development professionals and senior management with any of these in their remit.

Now in its 3rd year, this one day event brings together leading industry experts and experienced practitioners to share their valuable experience. This is a MUST ATTEND event for anyone who is responsible for pupil recruitment, staff recruitment, lettings or other aspects of marketing and communications.   

The programme brings together leading practitioners in the sector on key topics for 2023:

  • Keynote Address: Lessons from the US Schools Market,  Brendan Schneider 
  • School recruitment is not just an HR issue - the role of marketing, Sue Keogh, Sookio
  • The Power of LinkedIn, Andrew Elias, Director of Marketing, & Communications, Chatsworth Schools
  • Commercial Revenue Raising Opportunities, Dorothy McLaren, Founder of the Schools Enterprise Association
  • TikTok Case Study: Felsted School, Jack Dougherty, Director of Marketing, Felsted School  
  • Maximising your Parents Association, Elaine Barriball, Former Chair & Current Treasurer, King Edwards VI School, Southampton

All sessions will be available afterwards to delegates to watch back online and share with colleagues. 

We recognise that such an event is of equal importance to Communications, Marketing, and School Managers. We are also aware that this event is relevant to all schools – no matter how large or small. This coupled with CPD budgets being tight and the event being online has led to us offering a ticket to cover each school – allowing as many delegates as you wish to attend online.

11.05am:  Using LinkedIn to promote your school: Chatsworth School Group Case Study

Andrew Elias, Head of Marketing, Chatsworth Schools Group 

LinkedIn is used by 875 million people and is seen by many as the most 'serious' social media platform. Chatsworth Group schools has an excellent LinkedIn presence with a large following and active engagement by current employees. This has led to considerable success for the group in terms of profile raising, pupil enrolment and staff recruitment. Andrew will share his LinkedIn journey with you offering tips as to how your school can maximise and capitalise on its LinkedIn following.

14.15pm: Keynote Address: Schools Marketing: Lessons from further afield

Brendan Schneider, Founder, SchneiderB marketing 

Brendan Schneider is a renowned expert in the field of School Marketing. As former Director of Admission & Financial Aid at Sewickley Academy in Sewickley, PA, Brendan learnt the problems schools faced when it came to pupil recruitment. He now supports schools all over the US through SchneiderB media, providing an insightful weekly newsletter and founder of the MarCom society. He is a well respected voice on all things schools marketing.  This session will look at the approach to schools marketing from a US perspective with  strong focus on inbound marketing.
