The Lady Rosalind Runcie Piano Masterclass and Recital 2023

The tenth annual Lady Rosalind Runcie Memorial Fund Masterclass and Recital ("CollaborativePianists") will take place in the Jubilee Hall at St Albans High School on Wednesday 1 February
2023. In this special anniversary year, the focus of the event will be on the piano as an ensemble
instrument. We are very grateful to Coach House Pianos for their sponsorship and loan of four
grand pianos.
We are delighted that this year’s Masterclass (5:00pm) will be hosted by the internationally renowned
pianists and professional duet partners Berendina Cook MBE & Matthew Stanley, who
will also give a short recital at 07.30pm, with repertoire ranging from Beethoven to Richard Rodney
Bennett. Leading piano pupils have been selected from both St Albans School and St Albans High
School for Girls to take part in the masterclass, with a particular focus on Mozart's Concerto for
Two Pianos (K.365).
