Our Summer 2023 concert showcases some wonderful, big works. You'll hear big brass, sweeping tunes and just great music. We have the theme from Jurassic Park to open the concert and then Gershwin's gloriously tuneful jazz-age piano concerto. We finish with Howard Hanson's symphony no. 2 (subtitled "Romantic"). The composer described it as "a work young in spirit, romantic in temperament and simple and direct in expression". So some and see whether you agree! We're definitely looking forward to playing this programme.Location
