ENTRY FEES
Your entry fee covers your place in the event. If this event is cancelled for any reason all tickets will be refunded. For all other reasons this is non-refundable and non-transferable event. If you are unable to take part, please let us know as soon as possible.

REGISTRATION
All entries will be processed in the order we receive them. All runners must book tickets before the day of the run and the organisers reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone arriving late. Event registration and safety briefing times are in the Event Information Packs. Places are limited, please book early to avoid disappointment.

SAFETY INFORMATION
All runners will need to be able to complete the half marathon within a four-hour window. The run will be guided by two official Kings Guide to the Sands - Michael Wilson at the front and Raymond Porter at the rear both on Tractors. The run will be marshalled by FGH Security and The Kings Guide to the Sands volunteers. A full runners information pack will be issued to all participants via email in February. Runner safety is our top priority. The Guide to the Sands will assess the Bay in the weeks before the event and on race day. If river conditions are unsafe, we will implement an alternative route, allowing the half marathon to go ahead without crossing the river channel.

CLOSING DATE
The closing date for online entries is Friday 3rd July 2026 or when the walk is sold out, whichever date is sooner.

ON THE DAY
It is your responsibility to arrive at the start point in plenty of time to register on site and attend the safety briefing before leaving the foreshore. The organisers reserve the right to refuse participation to anyone who has not registered on the day or attended the safety briefing.

MEDICAL CONDITIONS
It is your responsibility to make sure you are fit to complete the Cross Bay Half Marathon. If you are in any doubt, please consult your GP.

AGE LIMITS
Over 18 years only.

PHOTOGRAPHY
By registering for this event, you agree that any photographs taken may be used for promotional purposes by CancerCare.

DOGS
No dogs allowed.
