The price of each ticket will be the price indicated on the order page when you place your order. The Armitt is responsible for the admission to which the ticket relates, and for the accuracy of the ticket information and price displayed on TryBookings, the operating platform. Payment is taken by and processed by TryBookings, the operator of the ticket platform; it will appear on your bank or credit card statement as The Armitt/TryBookings. They will transfer the full payment to The Armitt from whom you have purchased your ticket(s). If you have made a Gift Aid declaration this will be passed to The Armitt specified in your declaration and it will process the Gift Aid. All tickets to The Armitt, Rydal Road, Ambleside are subject to these terms and conditions: In booking a ticket, or using a ticket regardless of whether you were the person who booked it, you understand and agree that: You will not be allowed to enter The Armitt without a valid entry ticket, both for general admission and for events. Your ticket is valid only for the number of person(s), the date and/or the entry time slot stated on the ticket’s face. During your visit you must retain your ticket for production on demand by our staff/volunteers. Your visit to The Armitt, including to any exhibition or event, is at all times subject to any notice to visitors we post on our premises and to the direction, supervision and guidance of our staff, which may include directions in relation to health and safety. The Armitt reserves the right to deny entry to, or ask to leave, any person who is not behaving or acting appropriately towards our staff, volunteers, other visitors, or our exhibits, and in such case, we shall have no liability to you. We also reserve the right, at our sole and absolute discretion, to: alter our advertised arrangements for opening and admission to The Armitt, or for any exhibition or event; cancel any ticket without notice; or close The Armitt (or any part thereof) without notice, AND in any such event (a) we shall not be liable to you for any loss of business, revenue, profits, anticipated savings or goodwill (whether direct or indirect) or for any indirect, special or consequential loss of any kind and in each case howsoever arising, even if you have advised us of the possibility of same; and (b) our maximum liability to you shall not exceed the total amount you paid for your ticket. For the avoidance of doubt, nothing in these terms and conditions shall limit our liability to you for death, personal injury or fraud, or any other liability that cannot, as a matter of law, be excluded or limited. This agreement is subject to the laws of England and Wales and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
Returns and refunds are not accepted without proof of purchase. If you have booked your ticket but can no longer attend, or you made an error during booking, please inform us as soon as possible so that we can refund/return your ticket and release it for someone else. If The Armitt should have to close for any reason, we will endeavour to notify you as soon as possible. The ticket cannot be gifted, transferred or exchanged for any other item, product, or service. If a ticket is resold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than us, then that ticket will be void.

All issues relating to the sale of tickets and the hosting of their associated event(s) are the responsibility of the account holder known herein as the “Event Organiser” using the TryBooking UK Ltd website to manage this event and not that of TryBooking UK Ltd., its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, other partners and employees known herein as “TryBooking UK”. 1. TryBooking UK is not responsible for the Terms and Conditions or any other instructions or directives imposed by the Event Organiser. 2. TryBooking UK is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the purchase of this ticket. 3. TryBooking UK cannot exchange or refund this ticket. 4. The additional booking fee that may apply when purchasing tickets via the TryBooking UK Ltd website is not negotiable or refundable and can be subject to change at TryBooking UK's sole discretion. 5. A cancelled, postponed or altered event does not constitute an obligation by TryBooking UK to substitute, refund or provide other compensation monetary or otherwise. 6. Any dispute which may arise regarding the booking of this event or the way in which this event is conducted or the conditions in which this event is held is solely between the ticket holder and the Event Organiser and not a part of TryBooking UK's responsibilities.
