Family Camp – Terms & Conditions

1. Booking & Payment
All bookings must be made through TryBooking. Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place. Places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

2. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations made more than 21 days before the event will receive a full refund (minus any booking fees charged by TryBooking). Cancellations within 14 days of the event are non-refundable, unless the place can be filled from a waiting list. If the event is cancelled by the organisers, a full refund will be issued.

3. Supervision of Children
Parents and carers remain responsible for the supervision, behaviour, and safety of their children at all times during the event. Please note that this is a family event and not a drop-off camp). Leaders are all DBS checked and safeguarding trained in line with the Diocese and Church of England requirements.

4. Behaviour
We expect all attendees to behave respectfully towards others, leaders, volunteers, and the campsite. The organisers reserve the right to ask individuals or families to leave if behaviour is deemed unsafe or inappropriate. No refund will be given in such circumstances.

5. Health & Medical Information
Any relevant medical conditions, allergies, or additional needs must be declared at the time of booking. Basic first aid will be available on site, but families are responsible for bringing any necessary medication.

6. Photography & Media
Photographs and/or videos may be taken during the event for promotional use by the Diocese of Chichester. Please indicate at booking if you do not wish your family to appear in photographs.

7. Liability
Attendees participate in activities at their own risk. The Diocese of Chichester is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings. Families are responsible for their own camping equipment.

8. Weather & Programme Changes
Family Camp will run in most weather conditions. Please come prepared. The organisers reserve the right to amend the programme if necessary.

9. Data Protection
Personal information collected through TryBooking will be used solely for the administration of Family Camp and in accordance with the Diocese of Chichester’s data protection policies.

All issues relating to the sale of tickets and the hosting of their associated event(s) are the responsibility of the account holder known herein as the “Event Organiser” using the TryBooking UK Ltd website to manage this event and not that of TryBooking UK Ltd., its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, other partners and employees known herein as “TryBooking UK”. 1. TryBooking UK is not responsible for the Terms and Conditions or any other instructions or directives imposed by the Event Organiser. 2. TryBooking UK is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the purchase of this ticket. 3. TryBooking UK cannot exchange or refund this ticket. 4. The additional booking fee that may apply when purchasing tickets via the TryBooking UK Ltd website is not negotiable or refundable and can be subject to change at TryBooking UK's sole discretion. 5. A cancelled, postponed or altered event does not constitute an obligation by TryBooking UK to substitute, refund or provide other compensation monetary or otherwise. 6. Any dispute which may arise regarding the booking of this event or the way in which this event is conducted or the conditions in which this event is held is solely between the ticket holder and the Event Organiser and not a part of TryBooking UK's responsibilities.
