By booking and participating in activities with Land Water Fire Medicine, I acknowledge that sauna use carries inherent risks, including but not limited to dehydration, burns, dizziness, fainting, cardiac stress, and heat-related illness.

I confirm that I:
Am voluntarily participating at my own risk.
Am solely responsible for assessing my own health and ability to participate.
Have consulted a medical professional if I have any health concerns before booking.

Eligibility & Restrictions
Participants must be 16+ to use the sauna
Jewellery, glasses, and contact lenses must be removed before entering the sauna.

Health & Safety
I confirm that I will not use the sauna if I:
Have high/low blood pressure, heart/circulatory disorders, epilepsy, diabetes, asthma, or breathing conditions.
Have a history of dizziness, fainting, heart attacks, or strokes.
Am pregnant, taking medication that may be affected by heat, or have any other medical condition that could be impacted by high temperatures.
Feel unwell, have a fever, or am under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
I understand that sauna use involves exposure to high temperatures and should be done in short intervals. I will not stay in the sauna for longer than 15 minutes per session and will exit if I feel dizzy, nauseous, or unwell. Staying hydrated before, during, and after use is essential.

Land Water Fire Medicine operates solely in the sauna and the immediate area of the sauna. This area defines the full extent of our operational control and duty of care.
No verbal guidance, encouragement, or comments made by Land Water Fire Medicine staff constitute medical advice or safety instruction regarding lake use.
I release, indemnify, and hold harmless Land Water Fire Medicine and its directors, staff, and agents from any claims or liability arising from my voluntary use of external cold water bodies.

Proper Sauna Use & Conduct
Do not eat, drink alcohol, smoke, or exercise inside the sauna.
Sauna users should be well-nourished but avoid entering immediately after eating.
Only water provided should be poured on the sauna heater.
The sauna area is an alcohol and drug-free zone. If I am suspected of being under the influence, participation will be refused without a refund.
I will leave the sauna area clean and tidy and ensure I take all personal belongings with me.

Assumption of Risk & Indemnification
I understand that participating in sauna activities involves inherent risks that cannot be entirely eliminated, including but not limited to:
Risks due to high temperatures, dehydration, uneven terrain, and participant conditions.
Risks from other participants, environmental factors, and equipment usage.
I accept full responsibility for my own safety and actions while participating.
I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Land Water Fire Medicine, its directors, employees, volunteers, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or losses arising from my participation, except where liability cannot be excluded under UK law.

I acknowledge that:
Land Water Fire Medicine is not responsible for any injuries, accidents, or incidents occurring in the lake or other open water, as this is independent of its operations.
Land Water Fire Medicine is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.
Land Water Fire Medicine takes reasonable safety measures but cannot eliminate all risks associated with sauna use.

Medical Assistance & Emergency Care
I consent to receive emergency medical care if deemed necessary. I understand that any medical care received will be provided by external professionals, and Land Water Fire Medicine is not responsible for the outcome of such care.

If I am booking for multiple participants, I may complete this waiver on their behalf, and I confirm that all members of my group have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
