Scottish Families Affected by Alcohol and Drugs
Learning and Development: Booking Terms and Conditions
Effective from 1st January 2025
Please note these Terms and Conditions may be subject to change by Scottish Families Affected by Alcohol and Drugs (hereafter referred to as Scottish Families) without notice.
Course Booking
For current course costs and dates, please refer to our website at www.sfad.org.uk/learning-hub.
Before booking, please ensure you have read the course programme and content, to ensure the course will meet your needs.
If a booking is completed by an individual other than the named delegate, it is the responsibility of this individual or their employer to ensure the delegate is authorised and able to attend the course.
Details of upcoming courses are available at www.sfad.org.uk/upcoming-sessions
Bookings should be made online via our website which links to our bookings page on trybooking.com.
Alternatively, booking may be arranged to be payable by invoice through discussion with Scottish Families.
Scottish Families will send all correspondence primarily via email to the email address provided at time of booking. If an alternative email address is provided after the booking form has been submitted, this will supersede the original one given and all future correspondence will be sent to the new email address.
It may be necessary, for reasons beyond the control of Scottish Families (e.g. staff sickness or unforeseen transport problems), to change the timing of the course programme, the date, the venue or the training facilitators.
Payment
Delegate fees (including any ticketing fees applicable) must be paid in full by the start date of the course or first session booked, otherwise the delegate may not be authorised to attend.
Payments must be in pounds Sterling (£GBP).
Delayed or non-payment of course fees will result in suspension of future bookings until payment has been received in full.
The total amount due, including ticketing fees, will be confirmed at time of booking and is payable by credit card on trybooking.com. A small ticketing fee set by trybooking.com may be charged for each booking.
A receipt will be issued electronically via trybooking.com at time of booking.
If a tax invoice is required instead of a receipt, this should be arranged by discussion with Scottish Families.
If payment is due by invoice, then this should be paid by BACS transfer within 30 days of the invoice date or no later than 48 hours prior to the start of the first training session, whichever date occurs first.
Attendance
A minimum number of bookings is required for a course to run as planned, otherwise it may be necessary for the provider to cancel at short notice. Minimum numbers are currently: three places
Course details and joining instructions will be sent via email to the email address provided on the booking form. For bookings made on behalf of others, it is the responsibility of the individual completing the booking to ensure that delegates receive this information.
Cancellations, Reschedules and Refunds
To qualify for a full refund (minus ticketing fees), all requests for cancellations must be received in writing / email no less than 48 hours prior to the start of the course.
