Terms and Conditions - Woof & Wag at Abbot Hall Park Kendal

All entrants take part entirely at their own risk and CancerCare will not be liable for any injury, damage or loss that might occur before, during or after the event.

All children under 16’s must be accompanied by a participating Adult. A child over the age of 16 who wishes to take part in the dog show without an adult accompaniment, then they do so at their own risk and the telephone number of the adult taking responsibility for them must be provided for contact in an emergency.

Your entry fee is non-refundable. As this is an outdoor event, participants should dress appropriately for the weather. In the event of cancellation due to extreme weather all participants will be emailed and a notification sent out on our social media channels.

The closing date for online entries is 30th August at 12pm. Limited registrations will be available on the day between 11:00 - 13:00.

It is your responsibility to arrive at the dog show in plenty of time to register on site and attend the welcome and safety briefing prior to the event’s start at 2pm. Participants who have pre-registered online should sign in at the registration desk between 1:00-1:45pm. For this event we are allowing on the day sign ups. Please arrive at the event to register before 1:45pm. The organisers reserve the right to refuse participation to anyone who has not registered on the day.

To ensure the health and safety of all participants and spectators, dogs must be kept on a lead at all times while taking part in the dog show. Your dog is your responsibility and please ensure that you clean up after your dog and use the bins provided.

Photos

a) I understand that there may be photography at the event and I grant permission for CancerCare to use photographs, motion pictures, quotes, or any other record of my participation in my chosen event for the purpose of marketing future events online and on print materials, for a period of 5 years.

b) I understand if I do not wish my photograph to be taken and/or used, I should inform CancerCare so that they can make the necessary arrangements. I understand that if I wish to withdraw my consent at any time, I should email fundraising@cancercare.org.uk. I also acknowledge that while CancerCare will use all reasonable endeavours to comply with any such notice of withdrawal of permission it cannot guarantee that materials in public circulation at the date on which the request is received will be withdrawn immediately.

The additional booking fee that may apply when purchasing tickets via the TryBooking UK Ltd website is not negotiable or refundable and can be subject to change at TryBooking UK's sole discretion. 5. A cancelled, postponed or altered event does not constitute an obligation by TryBooking UK to substitute, refund or provide other compensation monetary or otherwise. 6. Any dispute which may arise regarding the booking of this event or the way in which this event is conducted or the conditions in which this event is held is solely between the ticket holder and the Event Organiser and not a part of TryBooking UK's responsibilities.
