At Wellington Prep School we create a safe and secure environment for children and their parents or carers to attend our fun and relaxed Little Wellies Toddler Group.
Please read this information carefully before booking.
Health and Safety:
You are responsible for your child at all times while attending Little Wellies Toddler Group and children must be supervised throughout.
Young children explore not only with their hands but at times with their mouths so we endeavour to ensure that everything we use in our sessions is non-toxic. The materials used in sessions are all sourced from trusted suppliers/high street retailers/well known supermarkets and are provided in the knowledge that parents and carers supervise the children while they play with them. Whilst all the materials we use are non-toxic, children should not eat them!
If your child suffers from any allergies or medical conditions then it is vital that you provide details on the booking form each time? you book onto our sessions. We can then plan accordingly as we will often use foodstuffs or edible paints as part of the sensory and creative play activities at the sessions.
Please note that it is your responsibility to ensure that your child does not come into contact with anything that may cause him/her to suffer an allergic reaction. If you have any concerns about allergies and intolerances then please contact us to discuss – we are generally able to adapt our sessions and materials to accommodate!
All materials are provided in the expectation that they are to be played with under a parent/carer’s supervision.
Please also not that all dirty nappies should be taken home, there is no facility here to dispose of them.
Illness
Please do not come along to class if you or your child are ill, to avoid the spread of illness or infection. Please do not attend Little Wellies if you have been advised by a health care professional not to attend school or nursery or if you have a communicable disease.
Phones
Mobile phones are not permitted to be used within the Prep School. If you need to use your phone we ask that you leave the school building or go into the Reception area.
Photography
Photographs may not be taken of any of the children while attending sessions.
Child Protection and Safeguarding
All members of the Little Wellies Team are fully committed to providing a safe, secure and inclusive environment for all children and parents/carers attending our classes. Mrs Lucas, who runs Little Wellies, is one of our Safeguarding leads at Wellington Prep School. A copy of the School’s written Safeguarding Policy and Child Protection is published on the School website and available to all parents and carers on request.

Terms and Conditions of Booking
Wellington Prep School is committed to trying to ensure the safety of all persons who attend our classes and to delivering the highest standard of service. Participation in a Little Wellies Group session is entirely at your own risk without any proven negligence, breach of duty of care or lack of due diligence by Wellington School 1837.
Bookings are non-refundable and non-exchangeable – if you have booked and paid for a class and are then unable to attend for whatever reason (including illness, isolation or holidays), unfortunately we cannot offer a refund.
In the event that we have no option but to cancel/suspend/postpone classes due to events beyond our control such as venue closure, bad weather, pandemic or epidemic, illness, local lockdown restrictions or other circumstances which mean that the class cannot take place, we will offer a refund.

Data Protection
At Little Wellies Toddler Group, we respect our customers’ information and we are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, our booking system or our services, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with our Policy: Policies - Wellington School

We always welcome and value feedback and input from our Little Wellies Grown-ups! If you have a concern, complaint or query then we would encourage you to contact Wellington Prep School in the first instance.
