Terms and Conditions  −  Survival Basics - A Good Place To Start

1. Booking & Payment

⦁ A place on the workshop/course is only confirmed once full payment has been received.
⦁ Bookings are taken on a first‑come, first‑served basis.
⦁ Each workshop/course has a maximum capacity of 12 participants unless otherwise agreed in writing.
⦁ Participants must be aged 17 or older unless accompanied by an adult (18+) or otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Cancellations & Refunds
If you cancel your place

⦁ Cancellations made 14 days or more before the workshop date will receive a full refund.
⦁ Cancellations made 7–13 days before the workshop date will receive a 50% refund.
⦁ Cancellations made less than 7 days before the workshop date are non‑refundable.
⦁ You may transfer your place to another person at no additional cost — please notify me in advance (minimum 15 minutes proir to the event start. It will be yours or thier responsibility to ensure that I have all the relevant information prior to the workshop/course. Paper participation forms will be available on the day.

If I cancel the workshop

⦁ If I need to cancel due to illness, severe weather, or safety concerns you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another date.
⦁ I am not responsible for any extra, travel or accommodation costs you may have incurred.

3. Weather & Outdoor Conditions
⦁ Workshops take place outdoors and will continue in most weather conditions.
⦁ In the event of dangerous weather (e.g., storms, high winds, lightning), I may postpone or cancel the session for safety reasons.
⦁ Participants are responsible for bringing appropriate clothing and footwear for outdoor conditions.

4. Health, Safety & Participation
⦁ By attending, you confirm that you are physically able to take part in light to moderate outdoor activity.
⦁ By attending, you confirm that you have informed me of any relevant medical conditions, allergies, or access needs when booking.
⦁ By attending, you confirm that you agree to follow all safety instructions given during the workshop/session/contract of my instructional and/or guiding services.
⦁ I reserve the right to remove any participant whose behaviour puts themselves or others at risk.
⦁ I reserve the right to refuse participation of any individual or group, and/or my services to any individual or group If I reasonably suspect/know them to be under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol

5. Liability
⦁ Outdoor activities carry inherent risks. By booking, you accept that you participate at your own risk.
⦁ I will take all reasonable steps to provide a safe environment, but I cannot accept responsibility for:
I. personal injury caused by your own actions or unforseeable circumstances
II. loss or damage to personal belongings in any circumstance
III. injuries arising from failure to follow instructions

6. Personal Belongings
⦁ I cannot be held responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal items.
⦁ All personal items are brought at your own risk and with the understanding that you accept full liability for them. (I strongly reccomend enjoying the phone-free time anyway, it's a rare thing for a lot of people and it will help you get the most from your experience)

7. Photography & Media
⦁ I may take photos during the workshop for promotional use.
⦁ If you prefer not to be photographed, please let me know at the start of the session.

8. Data Protection (GDPR)
⦁ I only collect information necessary for running the workshop safely and effectively.
⦁ Your data will never be shared with third parties.
⦁ Information is stored securely and deleted when no longer required.

TryBooking UK is not responsible for the Terms and Conditions or any other instructions or directives imposed by the Event Organiser. 2.
