Relevant dates
The exhibition will run at An Talla Solais Gallery from Saturday 1st August to Sunday 11th October, open Wednesday – Sunday between 10am and 5pm
Submissions will be accepted at An Talla Solais on Market Street (next to the Village Hall) on Sunday 12th July from 2-5pm and Sunday 19th July between 2-5pm

No late submissions will be accepted.
A private view of the exhibition and Art Week opening party will be held on Friday 4th September at the An Talla Solais Gallery. The time will be confirmed nearer the date. All exhibitors and their guests are welcome and an invitation will be sent by email nearer the time.
The exhibition will close on Sunday 11th October and unsold work can be collected from: An Talla Solais Gallery on Monday 12th an between 10-4pm
Please note that work cannot be stored at either venue after the specified collection dates. If you are not available to pick up your work in person, you should arrange for someone to collect it on your behalf.
Conditions of Entry
• Up to three pieces of work can be submitted by each artist. Due to the number of submissions, we are limited to accepting one extra large work per person.
• No changes to price or title can be accepted after the drop off date
• The entry cost, which will cover the cost of mounting the exhibition, are:
£10 (£7 concession*) per piece submitted to An Talla Solais Gallery
Concessions are available to members who are under 18, over 60 or are unwaged.
• Categories for inclusion are: Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, Textiles, Ceramics, Craft, Printmaking, Photography, New Media, and Other
• Submission is open to all paid-up members of An Talla Solais. New members can join, and current memberships can be renewed, at the time of submission. Please tick the appropriate box on the submission form.
• Work submitted must not have been previously exhibited in An Talla Solais.
• Work submitted may be for sale and the commission taken on sales paid to An Talla Solais is 30%.
• An Talla Solais’ hanging group will be responsible for selection and curation of the exhibition and members should note that not all work submitted will be hung. The group will aim to represent each member submitting work, subject to space, but the group’s decisions about both inclusion and placement of work is final.
• All work must be secure and ready to be hung or presented. Please note the following: If your work has an unusual or specific hanging method then you should supply hanging mechanisms - with instructions - along with your work. Please make sure that your fixings are fit for purpose, we will not hang the work if they are not.
• Work must be labelled clearly on the back with your name, price, and title
• Works whose stability, materials or method of construction could present a hazard to the viewing public may be rejected on these grounds.
• Any composite work must be accompanied by clear instructions for assembly.
• Pieces having moving parts or utilising electrical/mechanical elements must comply with health and safety regulations and electrical elements must be certified for safety (PAT).
• You will need to provide any equipment required to show film, video or sound pieces and this must also comply with health and safety regulations - including and be submitted along with your work. All electrical elements must be certified for safety (PAT).
• Given the tight timescale for hanging, it will not be possible to announce in advance a list of work included in the exhibition. However, individual emails regarding the selection will be sent to members within two weeks of the opening and details for collection of work not exhibited will be agreed at that time.
• All work will be handled by An Talla Solais with great care but artworks will not be insured by An Talla Solais either for storage or for exhibition. Submission will be at the artist’s own risk and insurance, if required, should be arranged by the artist.

An Talla Solais reserves the right to cancel events in circumstances where an event cannot go ahead. Full refunds would then apply.

Any dispute which may arise regarding the booking of this event or the way in which this event is conducted or the conditions in which this event is held is solely between the ticket holder and the Event Organiser and not a part of TryBooking UK's responsibilities.
