Theatre Performance at Lichfield Cathedral

By purchasing tickets via TryBooking.com and/or attending this performance, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Ticket Sales & Booking (TryBooking)

1.1 All tickets are sold via TryBooking.com and are subject to availability.
1.2 A booking or transaction fee may be charged by TryBooking at the time of purchase; this fee is non-refundable.
1.3 Tickets are issued electronically and must be presented on entry (printed or digital).
1.4 Tickets are non-transferable and may not be resold for commercial gain.
1.5 It is the responsibility of the ticket purchaser to ensure that contact details provided to TryBooking are correct.

2. Performance Dates & Changes

2.1 Performances will take place on 22 and 23 September 2026.
2.2 The organiser reserves the right to alter performance details, including programme, cast, or timings, where reasonably necessary.
2.3 In the event of cancellation, refunds will be processed in accordance with TryBooking’s refund procedures.

3. Refunds & Cancellations

3.1 Tickets are non-refundable except where a performance is cancelled and not rescheduled.
3.2 If a performance is cancelled, ticket holders will be entitled to a refund of the ticket price only (excluding TryBooking booking fees).
3.3 No refunds will be issued for late arrival, non-attendance, or early departure.

4. Admission & Late Arrival

4.1 Tickets must be presented for inspection upon request.
4.2 Latecomers may only be admitted at a suitable break and at the discretion of front-of-house staff.
4.3 Re-admission during the performance may not be possible.

5. Age Recommendation & Safeguarding

5.1 This performance is recommended for ages 12+.
5.2 This is a guidance rating; parents and guardians are responsible for assessing suitability.
5.3 Children under 16 must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
5.4 The organisers and Lichfield Cathedral operate safeguarding procedures in line with Church of England guidance.
5.5 Any safeguarding concerns should be reported immediately to a member of Cathedral staff or an event steward.
5.6 Unaccompanied children will not be permitted to remain on site.

6. Behaviour & Respect for the Cathedral

6.1 Lichfield Cathedral is a historic building and place of worship; all attendees are expected to behave respectfully.
6.2 Disruptive behaviour, including the use of mobile devices during the performance, may result in removal without refund.
6.3 Alcohol, illegal substances, or abusive conduct will not be tolerated.

7. Photography, Filming & Recording

7.1 Photography, video, or audio recording during the performance is strictly prohibited unless explicitly authorised.
7.2 Official photography or filming may take place; audience members may appear incidentally in such material.
7.3 Photography of children by audience members is not permitted.

8. Accessibility

8.1 The organiser aims to accommodate access requirements wherever possible.
8.2 Accessibility needs should be communicated at the time of booking.
8.3 Due to the historic nature of the Cathedral, some access limitations may apply.

9. Safety, Evacuation & Emergencies

9.1 Attendees must follow all instructions given by Cathedral staff, stewards, or emergency personnel.
9.2 In the event of an emergency or evacuation, audiences must leave the building calmly via the nearest exit as directed.
9.3 Designated assembly points will be indicated by staff; re-entry may not be permitted.
9.4 Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans (PEEPs) should be discussed with staff in advance where required.
9.5 The organiser accepts no responsibility for personal belongings lost or damaged during the event.

10. Force Majeure

10.1 The organiser shall not be liable for delay, cancellation, or changes caused by events beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, public health restrictions, or orders from authorities.

11. Data Protection

11.1 Personal data collected through TryBooking will be processed in accordance with TryBooking’s Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation.
11.2 Data will be used solely for event administration and communication.

12. Governing Law

12.1 These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

All issues relating to the sale of tickets and the hosting of their associated event(s) are the responsibility of the account holder known herein as the “Event Organiser” using the TryBooking UK Ltd website to manage this event and not that of TryBooking UK Ltd., its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, other partners and employees known herein as “TryBooking UK”. 1. TryBooking UK is not responsible for the Terms and Conditions or any other instructions or directives imposed by the Event Organiser. 2. TryBooking UK is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the purchase of this ticket. 3. TryBooking UK cannot exchange or refund this ticket. 4. The additional booking fee that may apply when purchasing tickets via the TryBooking UK Ltd website is not negotiable or refundable and can be subject to change at TryBooking UK's sole discretion. 5. A cancelled, postponed or altered event does not constitute an obligation by TryBooking UK to substitute, refund or provide other compensation monetary or otherwise. 6. Any dispute which may arise regarding the booking of this event or the way in which this event is conducted or the conditions in which this event is held is solely between the ticket holder and the Event Organiser and not a part of TryBooking UK's responsibilities.
