Organisers

1.1 Sherborne Historic Vehicle Rally is organised by the Rotary Club of Sherborne Castles. The optional 25-30 mile run is entirely non-competitive and is open to all accepted entries.

1.2 The Rally will take place on Sunday, 30th August 2026.

2 Eligibility

2.1 All vehicles must have a current Road Fund Licence and have a valid MoT test certificate if applicable, and be fully roadworthy and insured for the Rally.

2.2 All drivers and riders shall have a valid full driving licence.

2.3 We do not knowingly accept replica vehicles.

3 Entries

3.1 The Entry closing date is Friday, 14th August 2026 for inclusion in printed programme. Late entries will be accepted until the Courts are full. They will not be eligible for judging. Entries on the day – space permitting – will be accepted, but will also not be eligible for judging.

3.2 Refund of any entry fees will be at the discretion of the organising committee.

3.3 No vehicle will be permitted to leave the Rally during the Prize Giving Ceremony (Motorcycles may be pushed out).

3.4 Trailers/transporters of any vehicle may not be parked in The Courts.

3.5 Only Dogs are allowed in the courtyard but must be kept on a lead at all time and any mess must be cleared up and removed from the site.

4 Insurance

4.1 The Rally organisers accept no liability for any personal effects, nor any personal or public injury or any liability before, during, or after the Rally and Road Run.

5 Identification and Documentation

5.1 All entrants will be sent a confirmation of entry card that must be displayed on the front of their vehicle prior to arrival at The Courts.

5.2 Upon arrival at the Courts all entrants will be required to register with the organisers to obtain their documentation and rally number.

6 Start and Route

6.1 Entrants joining the road run should have registered with the organisers by 10:30am for an 11:00am start, returning no later than 1:30pm. Entrants not wishing to join the road run may arrive anytime from 10:00am but not after 1:30pm to register their entry.

6.2 The optional road run will start and finish in The Courts of Sherborne School, Sherborne, Dorset.

6.3 Entrants will be issued with route instructions.

7 Acceptance of Rally Regulations

7.1 By agreeingto the terms on your application form you confirm that you have read and will comply with the Entry Regulations and that you agree to the organisers retaining information on your entry for three years following the event.
