Northbourne Park School — Summer Programme 2026: Terms and Conditions
Bookings and places
All places are allocated on a first come, first served basis. Bookings must be made in advance through Trybooking; we are unable to accept children on the day without a confirmed booking. Our contract with you begins when we confirm your booking in writing.
By completing a booking, parents and guardians accept these terms and conditions on their own behalf and on behalf of their child.
Payment
All fees must be paid in full before the programme begins. Children will not be admitted if fees remain outstanding.
Cancellation and refunds
We do not offer refunds for cancellations made by parents or guardians for any reason. Cancellations must be made in writing and take effect from the date we receive notice.
If Northbourne Park School is unable to run a session or programme due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, we will notify you as soon as possible. Details of any alternative arrangements will be communicated at that time.
Your child's health and welfare
Children should be fit, well and capable of taking part in all activities. Please inform us of any relevant medical information prior to the start of the programme, including allergies, medication needs, dietary requirements or any condition that may affect your child's ability to participate. If we are not informed of a relevant condition, or if a child requires regular medical supervision, we reserve the right to ask the parent or guardian to withdraw their child from the programme.
If your child is unwell and unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible by calling 01304 611215.
We will seek prior consent for emergency medical treatment from parents or emergency contacts wherever possible. If we cannot make contact, parents and guardians authorise us to act on medical advice, including the use of anaesthetic if recommended by a doctor.
Behaviour
Children are expected to comply with the school's rules and to attend all sessions, activities and meals unless given permission otherwise by the programme leader. We reserve the right to require the immediate withdrawal of any child whose behaviour is unacceptable. No refund will be given in these circumstances, and parents or guardians will be liable for any additional costs incurred.
Clothing and equipment
Children should wear suitable clothing for indoor and outdoor activities, including footwear appropriate for outdoor terrain. Please label all items of clothing and equipment clearly.
Photography and data
We will process the information you provide for the purpose of delivering the programme. We may also use photographic imagery taken during the programme for website and marketing purposes. If you do not wish your child to be photographed, please let us know at the time of booking. If you do not wish to receive further information from us about our programmes and events, please let us know.
We will comply with current data protection legislation and you have the right of access to the information we hold about you.
Liability
We do not accept responsibility for loss of or damage to any personal property. We do not accept liability for any injury or loss of life except where caused by our proven negligence. We do not accept responsibility for loss or expense resulting from circumstances beyond our control, including delays to public transport, adverse weather, illness or infectious disease.
The programme details published are given in good faith and are indicative. We reserve the right to make changes where necessary.
These terms and conditions are subject to the laws of England and Wales and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
