ALL USERS OF THE SYNTHETIC ICE RINK SKATE AT THEIR OWN RISK
By booking and/or participating, all skaters, spectators and their guardians are deemed to have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions, and to have prior knowledge of and assume the inherent risks involved in skating.
These risks include, but are not limited to:
Injuries resulting from wearing ice skates, which may cause instability
Injuries resulting from falls, slips, or trips
Injuries resulting from collisions or contact with other skaters
Injuries involving objects or artificial structures that are within the intended path of travel of the skater
Injuries resulting from wet or slippery flooring
Skating is not suitable for:
Pregnant individuals
Anyone with existing or previous medical conditions that may be aggravated by skating, including (but not limited to) conditions affecting the head, neck, back, shoulders, wrists, elbows, arms, legs, knees, feet, joints, or hips
Participants skate entirely at their own risk. The Lingfield Foundation accepts no liability for injury except where required by law.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
1. Attendee Cancellations
If you are unable to attend, the following refund terms apply:
Cancellations made on or before 5 November: Full refund of the original ticket price paid, less any booking or transaction fees
Cancellations made between 6 November and 20 November (inclusive): 50% refund of the original ticket price paid, less any booking or transaction fees
Cancellations made after 20 November: Non-refundable
Refunds will always be calculated based on the amount originally paid at the time of booking (e.g. early bird or standard rate), not any later or current ticket pricing. All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to foundation@lingfieldcollege.co.uk
2. Ticket Transfers
Tickets are strictly non-transferable and may not be reassigned to another attendee.
3. Non-Attendance
Failure to attend without prior written cancellation will be treated as a cancellation and no refund will be issued.
4. Fundraising Event
This event is held in support of the Lingfield Foundation. By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge that proceeds contribute to charitable fundraising. As such, refunds are issued strictly in line with this policy and exceptions cannot be guaranteed. Where possible, attendees are encouraged to treat their ticket purchase as a donation to the Lingfield Foundation.
5. Event Changes
The Lingfield Foundation reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the event programme, session timings, or layout where necessary. Such changes will not entitle attendees to a refund.
6. Event Cancellation
In the unlikely event that the Lingfield Foundation cancels the event, attendees will be offered:
A full refund of the original ticket price paid, or
The option to transfer to a rescheduled date (if applicable)
The Lingfield Foundation is not responsible for any additional costs incurred, including travel or accommodation.
7. Force Majeure
The Lingfield Foundation shall not be held liable for delays or cancellations caused by factors beyond its reasonable control. In such circumstances, refunds will be considered at its discretion.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
This ticket was produced using the TryBooking UK Ltd website. All issues relating to the sale of tickets and the hosting of their associated event(s) are the responsibility of the account holder known herein as the “Event Organiser” using the TryBooking UK Ltd website to manage this event and not that of TryBooking UK Ltd., its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, other partners and employees known herein as “TryBooking UK”. 1. TryBooking UK is not responsible for the Terms and Conditions or any other instructions or directives imposed by the Event Organiser. 2. TryBooking UK is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the purchase of this ticket. 3. TryBooking UK cannot exchange or refund this ticket. 4. The additional booking fee that may apply when purchasing tickets via the TryBooking UK Ltd website is not negotiable or refundable and can be subject to change at TryBooking UK's sole discretion. 5. A cancelled, postponed or altered event does not constitute an obligation by TryBooking UK to substitute, refund or provide other compensation monetary or otherwise. 6. Any dispute which may arise regarding the booking of this event or the way in which this event is conducted or the conditions in which this event is held is solely between the ticket holder and the Event Organiser and not a part of TryBooking UK's responsibilities.
