Booking Conditions
Tree climbing sessions last approximately one hour.
Participants must be aged 6 years or over on the day of the event.
All participants must wear the safety equipment provided and follow the instructions of the climbing instructors at all times.
Children under 18 must have a parent or responsible adult on site throughout their climbing session.
Participants should wear suitable outdoor clothing and closed-toe footwear.
Tree climbing is undertaken at the participant's own risk. A consent form must be completed before taking part.
Any relevant medical conditions, injuries or additional needs should be disclosed at the time of booking.
In the interests of safety, instructors reserve the right to refuse participation if they believe it would be unsafe for an individual to climb.
Bookings are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by the organisers.
In the event of adverse weather, the organisers reserve the right to postpone, modify or cancel sessions if conditions are considered unsafe.
Places may not be transferred between sessions without prior agreement from the organisers.
Any refunds will be at the discretion of FOGB.
Photography may take place during the event. Please notify us in advance if you do not wish photographs of your child to be used for school or FoGB publicity.

The tree climbing activity is provided and operated by Social Tree Climbers, an independent specialist activity provider. All instruction, supervision, equipment, safety procedures and risk management relating to the activity are the responsibility of Social Tree Climbers.

Friends of Great Ballard (FOGB) and Great Ballard School are acting solely as event organisers and venue providers and accept no liability for any injury, loss, damage or claim arising from participation in the tree climbing activity. Any queries, concerns or claims relating to the activity should be directed to Social Tree Climbers and their insurers.
