Participants will need to arrive 20 minutes before the play is due to start, to pick your part out of the hat and be given your script, so please don't be late for this! Stand up to Read - feel free to act if you want to.
Please also arrive in good time if you are simply going to watch. The site will open at 11.30 and be closed during each play – opening for half an hour before each play for hot drinks, snacks and cake, and learning about The Rose.
We ask that you leave promptly after your play to enable the preparations for the next play to begin.
Please note that here will be nowhere to leave coats and bags.
Please remember their are no toilets on site. Shakespeare's Globe kindly permits visitors to use their facilities.
The Rose is an indoor archaeological site, it is advisable to dress with an extra layer, even in Summer, as there is no heating.
Photographs will be being taken. Please inform the photographer if you do not wish to be in the photographs.
