Bright Is Back Makeup Workshop – Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your purchase of and attendance at the Bright Is Back Makeup Workshop ("Workshop"), hosted by Romanie-Jade Tulloch, trading as Cakefacerj ("I", "me", "my").


By purchasing a ticket for the Workshop, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

1. The Workshop
The Bright Is Back Makeup Workshop is a live online makeup workshop hosted via Zoom.
The Workshop is designed to provide attendees with makeup education, creative inspiration and a guided makeup experience. The exact content, techniques and makeup look demonstrated will be as described in the Workshop promotion and booking information.

The Workshop may include:
• A live makeup tutorial hosted by me
• Step-by-step demonstrations and guidance
• The opportunity to follow along in real time
• Makeup tips, techniques and creative advice
• A live Q&A session

The Workshop is hosted by Cakefacerj.
All content, techniques, demonstrations, materials and creative concepts shared during the Workshop are my intellectual property and may not be reproduced, copied, shared, distributed or commercially used without my prior written permission.
2. Booking and Payment
Tickets for the Bright Is Back Makeup Workshop are sold through Try Booking at the price displayed at the time of purchase.
By completing your purchase, you are entering into a binding agreement with me and confirming that you have read and agreed to these Terms.
Your booking is confirmed once you receive your booking confirmation from Try Booking. Please check your spam or junk folder if you do not receive your confirmation.
Tickets are personal to the named purchaser and may not be transferred, resold or shared with another person without my prior written permission.
A recording of the Workshop will be made available to ticket holders after the event, where applicable. Any recording provided is for your personal use only and must not be shared, copied, distributed or made available to anyone else.
The LIVE WORKSHOP ticket means you will have access to the live workshop and the 7 days replay and entered to win the colouring book/makeup bundle.
The RECORDED WORKSHOP ticket means you will access to the 7 days replay, this ticket is NOT in conjunction with the first 5 bookings receiving a colouring book/makeup bundle.
3. Refund and Cancellation Policy
Due to the live and digital nature of the Bright Is Back Makeup Workshop, the following refund policy applies:
• Cancellations made more than 7 days before the Workshop date are eligible for a full refund.
• Cancellations made between 2 and 7 days before the Workshop date are eligible for a 50% refund.
• Cancellations made within 48 hours of the Workshop are non-refundable.
• Non-attendance on the day without prior cancellation is non-refundable.
To request a cancellation or refund, please contact me at info@cakefacerj.com with your booking details and WORKSHOP CANCELLATION in the subject line.
I reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the Workshop in exceptional circumstances. If I need to cancel the Workshop, ticket holders will be contacted using the email address provided at checkout and will be offered an appropriate refund.
4. Access and Technical Requirements
The Workshop is hosted via Zoom.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you have:
• A stable internet connection
• A device capable of running Zoom, such as a smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer
• Access to the Zoom app or a compatible web browser
I cannot be held responsible for technical difficulties on your end that prevent or disrupt your attendance at the Workshop.
No refunds will be issued due to personal technical issues, internet connection problems or device-related issues.
The Zoom access details will be sent to the email address used at checkout. Please ensure that your email address is correct when purchasing your ticket.
It is your responsibility to keep the Zoom link secure and not share it with anyone else.
5. Promotional Offers and Prize Draw
As part of the Bright Is Back Makeup Workshop, promotional offers and giveaways may be made available to ticket holders as advertised at the time of booking.
The first five confirmed LIVE WORKSHOP bookings will receive a signed copy of The Anxiety Scribble colouring book and a Nyx makeup bundle, subject to the promotional terms stated at the time of purchase.
6. Recording and Intellectual Property
The Workshop content is my intellectual property.
All attendees agree that they:
• Will not record, screenshot or capture any part of the Workshop
• Will not share, distribute or republish any Workshop content
• Will not copy or reproduce Workshop materials without my written permission
• Will not use the Workshop content for commercial purposes
• Will not sell or teach the exact Workshop content or demonstrations as their own
Makeup techniques and knowledge learned during the Workshop may be used by attendees for their own personal use.
Any unauthorised recording, copying or distribution of Workshop content may result in legal action.
I reserve the right to record the Workshop for my own use, promotional purposes or content creation.
By attending the Workshop, you acknowledge that you may potentially appear in a recording or promotional content. Attendee cameras and microphones may be off by default, where applicable, so this is unlikely to affect you.
7. Attendee Conduct
All attendees are expected to conduct themselves respectfully throughout the Workshop.
I reserve the right to remove an attendee from the Workshop without a refund if they:
• Are disruptive, abusive or offensive towards me or other attendees
• Harass or intimidate me or another attendee
• Attempt to share or distribute the Zoom link with unauthorised individuals
• Attempt to record, copy or distribute Workshop content
• Breach any of these Terms
8. Disclaimer
The Bright Is Back Makeup Workshop is provided for educational, creative and entertainment purposes.
Makeup results will vary depending on individual skill level, skin type, makeup products, tools and techniques used.
I make no guarantees as to the specific results you will achieve by following the Workshop.
Any makeup techniques demonstrated are intended for personal use and education.
Please check the ingredients of any products you use and carry out an appropriate patch test before using new makeup or cosmetic products, particularly if you have known allergies or sensitivities.
I cannot accept responsibility for any adverse reaction, irritation or other issue resulting from products used during or following the Workshop.
9. Personal Data and Privacy
When you book a ticket for the Bright Is Back Makeup Workshop, the personal information you provide at checkout, including your name and email address, will be processed by Try Booking in accordance with their privacy policy.
I will use your email address to send you important information relating to your Bright Is Back booking, including Workshop details and any relevant updates.
Where you have given consent, I may also contact you by email with information about future workshops, makeup events, products and other updates from me.
I will not share your personal data with third parties except where required to do so by law or where necessary to administer your booking.
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.

10. Changes to These Terms
I reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions from time to time.
The Terms in place at the time you purchase your ticket for the Bright Is Back Makeup Workshop will apply to your booking.
If I make any material changes to these Terms, I will communicate these changes to ticket holders by email where appropriate.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
This ticket was produced using the TryBooking UK Ltd website. All issues relating to the sale of tickets and the hosting of their associated event(s) are the responsibility of the account holder known herein as the “Event Organiser” using the TryBooking UK Ltd website to manage this event and not that of TryBooking UK Ltd., its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, other partners and employees known herein as “TryBooking UK”. 1. TryBooking UK is not responsible for the Terms and Conditions or any other instructions or directives imposed by the Event Organiser. 2. TryBooking UK is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the purchase of this ticket. 3. TryBooking UK cannot exchange or refund this ticket. 4. The additional booking fee that may apply when purchasing tickets via the TryBooking UK Ltd website is not negotiable or refundable and can be subject to change at TryBooking UK's sole discretion. 5. A cancelled, postponed or altered event does not constitute an obligation by TryBooking UK to substitute, refund or provide other compensation monetary or otherwise. 6. Any dispute which may arise regarding the booking of this event or the way in which this event is conducted or the conditions in which this event is held is solely between the ticket holder and the Event Organiser and not a part of TryBooking UK's responsibilities.
