Nene Valley HOG Chapter Rally
Refund Policy
All registration fees are non-refundable. No refunds will be provided for participant cancellations, non-attendance, or unused portions of the event.
Should the rally be cancelled, postponed, or modified due to circumstances beyond the organisers' control (including but not limited to severe weather, government restrictions, venue issues, or force majeure), refunds will not be issued unless the organisers expressly determine otherwise.
1. Eligibility
Riders must hold a valid motorcycle licence and comply with all applicable road traffic laws.
Riders are responsible for ensuring their motorcycles are roadworthy, registered, insured, and legally compliant.
2. Assumption of Risk
Motorcycling is an inherently hazardous activity.
All participants attend and participate entirely at their own risk.
Participants accept full responsibility for their own safety and the safety of any passengers.
3. Safety Requirements
Participants must follow all instructions issued by event organisers, Road Captains, marshals, and authorised officials.
Protective riding gear, including an approved helmet where required by law, should be worn at all times while riding.
Dangerous, reckless, or anti-social riding will not be tolerated.
4. Alcohol and Drugs
Riders must not operate a motorcycle while under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs, or any substance that impairs riding ability.
Organisers reserve the right to refuse participation to anyone considered unfit to ride.
5. Event Conduct
Participants shall conduct themselves respectfully towards fellow members, volunteers, sponsors, the public, and venue staff.
Violence, abusive behaviour, discrimination, harassment, or illegal activity may result in immediate removal from the event without refund.
6. Liability
The organising Chapter, volunteers, officers, sponsors, and venue owners shall not be liable for any injury, loss, theft, accident, or damage to persons or property, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
Participants are responsible for their own insurance coverage.
7. Compliance with Ride Rules
Group rides shall be conducted in accordance with the Road Captain's briefing.
Participants must obey speed limits, traffic regulations, and ride responsibly.
Riders may leave the group ride at any time but should notify a ride official where practical.
8. Photography and Media
Photographs and video may be taken during the rally.
By attending, participants consent to the use of their image for Chapter, dealership, and H.O.G. promotional purposes unless prohibited by law.
9. Event Changes
Organisers reserve the right to amend the programme, routes, venues, or schedule due to weather, safety concerns, operational requirements, or circumstances beyond their control.
10. Cancellation
The organisers reserve the right to cancel or postpone the rally if necessary for safety or operational reasons.
11. Environmental Responsibility
Participants must dispose of waste responsibly and respect local communities, private property, wildlife, and the environment.
12. Acceptance
By registering for or participating in the Harley Owners Group Chapter Rally, each participant confirms that they:
Have read and understood these Terms and Conditions;
Agree to comply with all event rules and instructions;
Accept the inherent risks associated with motorcycling activities; and
Accept responsibility for their own actions throughout the event.
