ADVOCACY FOCUS EVENT TERMS & CONDITIONS

Advocacy Focus reserves the right to refuse any booking. A booking is only deemed accepted once the attendee receives a booking confirmation from Advocacy Focus or via the TryBooking system.
All event details are correct at the time of publication but may be subject to change.
Unless otherwise stated, payment must be made in full at the time of booking. Bookings will only be confirmed once payment has been successfully received. Advocacy Focus reserves the right to refuse entry to any attendee where payment has not been received in full.

If you can no longer attend an event, please notify Advocacy Focus as soon as possible in writing via email.

Cancellation charges are as follows:
More than 14 days before the event: Full refund less any booking fees charged by the booking platform.
7-14 days before the event: 50% refund of the ticket price.
Less than 7 days before the event: No refund will be issued.
Non-attendance on the day of the event: No refund will be issued.

Advocacy Focus reserves the right to consider exceptional circumstances on a case-by-case basis.
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your booking to another person at no additional charge. Requests must be made in writing at least 48 hours before the event. The replacement attendee must meet any eligibility requirements applicable to the event.
Advocacy Focus reserves the right to alter event programmes, speakers, venues, timings or activities where necessary.

Should an event be cancelled by Advocacy Focus, attendees will be offered either: A full refund of the ticket fee; or
A transfer of their booking to an alternative date, where applicable.

Advocacy Focus's liability shall be limited to the amount paid for the ticket and shall not extend to travel, accommodation or any other associated costs incurred by attendees.
Where sponsorship has been agreed and confirmed, sponsorship fees are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by Advocacy Focus.
Photography and video recording may take place during events for promotional, marketing and fundraising purposes. Images and footage may be used on:
The Advocacy Focus website
Social media channels
Printed marketing materials
Press releases
Funding applications and reports

By attending an event, attendees consent to being photographed or filmed unless they have informed Advocacy Focus in advance or advised a member of staff on arrival.
Advocacy Focus may collect feedback from attendees following an event. By submitting feedback, attendees agree that comments, testimonials and reviews may be used for marketing, promotional, fundraising and reporting purposes. Personal details will not be published without prior consent. Advocacy Focus reserves the right to edit testimonials for clarity and length while maintaining their original meaning.
Attendees are responsible for following all instructions provided by Advocacy Focus staff and venue representatives. Where activities form part of an event, participants take part at their own risk and should ensure they are medically fit to participate. Advocacy Focus accepts no responsibility for injury, loss or damage arising from an attendee's failure to follow instructions or venue safety requirements.
Personal information collected during the booking process will be processed in accordance with UK data protection legislation and Advocacy Focus's Privacy Policy. Information will only be used for purposes relating to the administration and delivery of the event unless consent has been given for further communications.

This ticket was produced using the TryBooking UK Ltd website. All issues relating to the sale of tickets and the hosting of their associated event(s) are the responsibility of the account holder known herein as the “Event Organiser” using the TryBooking UK Ltd website to manage this event and not that of TryBooking UK Ltd., its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, other partners and employees known herein as “TryBooking UK”. 1. TryBooking UK is not responsible for the Terms and Conditions or any other instructions or directives imposed by the Event Organiser. 2. TryBooking UK is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the purchase of this ticket. 3. TryBooking UK cannot exchange or refund this ticket. 4. The additional booking fee that may apply when purchasing tickets via the TryBooking UK Ltd website is not negotiable or refundable and can be subject to change at TryBooking UK's sole discretion. 5. A cancelled, postponed or altered event does not constitute an obligation by TryBooking UK to substitute, refund or provide other compensation monetary or otherwise. 6. Any dispute which may arise regarding the booking of this event or the way in which this event is conducted or the conditions in which this event is held is solely between the ticket holder and the Event Organiser and not a part of TryBooking UK's responsibilities.
