Terms and Conditions  −  2023 - Intensive Swimming Weeks

SWIM SCHOOL TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

- The duration of each swimming lesson will be 30 minutes.
- We recommend that swimmers arrive 5 minutes prior to the swimming lesson to ensure they are ready for a prompt start.
- Should there be any interference with the regularly scheduled lessons for example; the weather / pool issues / pool cover issues etc - no refunds will be provided.
- The cancellation of swim lessons will be made 30 minutes prior to the lesson start time, notification of class cancellation will be done via the Facebook Page (@HeathfieldSwimSchool) We encourage you to call the swim school or to check our Facebook page for information.
- We reserve the rights to cancel any sessions due to low enrolment. If a session is cancelled you will be provided a full refund or an alternative lesson date/time.
- Applications will be accepted until the day before the first session and will be on a first come first served basis until each session is full. (Swimmers cannot be added once the pod is full)
- Goggle’s are not required but encouraged, swimming hats are compulsory and will be available for purchase from the swimming teachers on duty. These must be put on by parent/helper.
- Swimming lessons are performance based, if it is determined that your child is not prepared for a group lesson, we reserve the right to suggest alternative options.
- In completing this application, Heathfield Swim School will fully comply with the UK GDPR regulations, where your data will be stored in a secure location with your consent and not used for any other purpose. If you disagree with the storage arrangements in place you have a right under this act to request deletion of data, if you would like to do so, contact Heathfield Swim School via email heathfieldswimschool@gmail.com.
- A separate application for each child is required upon enrolment.
- All the information on the above form must be completed in their entirety and a signature is required

SCHOOL PARKING:

We are advising anybody who is using this site to utilise the school’s main car park and/or the lay-by on Sickle hatch Lane as an overflow, to reduce any disturbance to the local residents.

COVID POOL PROCEDURES

I understand that i will be participating in swimming lessons provided by Heathfield Swim School. Prior to attending lesson’s, I can confirm that I have completed and signed the Health Survey as requested by the swim school. By completing this form, i am signing this declaration to confirm i am free from any symptoms related to the COVID-19 virus, I understand the main symptoms include:

• A high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back
• A new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or three or more coughing episodes in 24 hours.
• A loss or change to your sense of smell or taste.

I am also confirming anyone from my household taking my child to and from lessons is also symptom free from the virus.

By signing this declaration, I confirm that for any future lessons that i will be attending, i will only attend in the full knowledge that they are free from any COVID-19 symptoms. In addition, but conversely confirm by signing this declaration that if I do display any symptoms, i will follow current government guidance.I agree and understand that by participating in these lessons, that they cannot be without risk, I am therefore aware of the risks associated with the Covid-19 virus, but still wish to participate in lessons.I understand the processes and protocols that Heathfield Swim School have put in place in order to reduce risks and my child will adhere to these in order to protect the health and the health of other members, staff and others using the facility.

TryBooking UK is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the purchase of this ticket. 3. TryBooking UK cannot exchange or refund this ticket. 4. The additional booking fee that may apply when purchasing tickets via the TryBooking UK Ltd website is not negotiable or refundable and can be subject to change at TryBooking UK's sole discretion. 5. A cancelled, postponed or altered event does not constitute an obligation by TryBooking UK to substitute, refund or provide other compensation monetary or otherwise. 6. Any dispute which may arise regarding the booking of this event or the way in which this event is conducted or the conditions in which this event is held is solely between the ticket holder and the Event Organiser and not a part of TryBooking UK's responsibilities.
