Terms and Conditions

Surrey Scouts Skills Workshops are offered to adults in Scouting and Guiding (Managers, Leaders and Supporters, plus Scout Network/Senior Section). Adults associated with other youth organisations may be accepted on enquiry/approval.

In completing this application, I understand and accept:
(I) Attendees must be over 18 years (Adults Only).

(ii) Only the attendee should complete this booking - we are not able to accept bookings made on behalf of another person.

(iii) If the attendee has Special Needs preventing completion of this booking, please click the Back button at the foot of this page and preceding pages (NOT web browser back button) to return to the Contact Event Organiser button at the foot of the first booking page, and open a discussion with the activity organisers about the application referring to the Special Need.

(iv) Pricing and services offered have been arranged on a non-profit/voluntary basis in the spirit of Scouting; accordingly, we look to the attendee to commit to their booking.

(v) The learning experience will be operated on Policy, Organisation and Rules of the Scout Association.


CANCELLATIONS
A request for refund will be met with compassion; however, it should be noted costs directly associated with organising this Skills Workshop will be allocated from the payment commencing at time of the booking and may not be recoverable:
(i) In excess of One Month before the session date, where a refund is agreed, a refund will be made available on a best endeavours basis which may result in not being able to offer a full refund.
(ii) Where a refund is requested less than One Month before the session date it would not be possible to offer a refund unless the ticket is re-sold.
(iii) All requests to cancel a booking will result in the ticket being released for resale.

TRANSFERS
A request to transfer a booking to another learner will be met with compassion:
(a) The transfer request must be submitted no less than 48hours before the session date.
(b) Full booking details of the learner adopting the ticket must be provided at time of request to transfer - please contact the Event Organiser for details.
(c) Where a transfer request is made after the cut-off time we may not be able to transfer the booking to another learner.


UK LAW
(I) Payment details taken at time of completing payment are separate from booking details in compliance with UK Finance and GDPR Laws.

(ii) On completing the booking it is deemed the above terms and conditions are accepted in full by the applicant.

All issues relating to the sale of tickets and the hosting of their associated event(s) are the responsibility of the account holder known herein as the “Event Organiser” using the TryBooking UK Ltd website to manage this event and not that of TryBooking UK Ltd., its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, other partners and employees known herein as “TryBooking UK”. 1. TryBooking UK is not responsible for the Terms and Conditions or any other instructions or directives imposed by the Event Organiser. 2. TryBooking UK is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the purchase of this ticket. 3. TryBooking UK cannot exchange or refund this ticket. 4. The additional booking fee that may apply when purchasing tickets via the TryBooking UK Ltd website is not negotiable or refundable and can be subject to change at TryBooking UK's sole discretion. 5. A cancelled, postponed or altered event does not constitute an obligation by TryBooking UK to substitute, refund or provide other compensation monetary or otherwise. 6. Any dispute which may arise regarding the booking of this event or the way in which this event is conducted or the conditions in which this event is held is solely between the ticket holder and the Event Organiser and not a part of TryBooking UK's responsibilities.
