Event Cancellation Policy
Delegates wishing to cancel their attendance at a Catholic Independent Schools’ Conference (CISC) event should do so in writing via email to info@catholicindependentschools.com at the earliest possible opportunity.
Bookings may be transferred to an alternate delegate if the person originally registered to attend is no longer able. Booking transfers in this instance will be made without charge. Attendance at the CISC Annual Conference is predominantly for Headteachers of CISC schools, where a replacement delegate is not a Headteacher i.e. Deputy Head or Governor, this will only be allowed by agreement with the General Secretary of CISC.
Delegate cancellations and refunds
In the event of a delegate wishing to cancel their attendance at a CISC event, a refund fee will be given as follows:
1. Up to and including 4 weeks prior to the event date – 75% refund
2. Up to and including 2 weeks prior to the event date – 50% refund
3. Less than 2 weeks prior to the event date – we regret that no refund can be given
CISC cancellations and refunds
Should an event be cancelled, CISC will refund fees but cannot accept liability for the reimbursement of any travel expenses that have been incurred. Events that run in conjunction with other associations or organisations may have different cancellation policies. Where this is the case, the applicable policy will be clearly indicated in the event publicity.
CISC reserves the right to alter published programmes, speakers and venues without prior notice.
Insurance
CISC regrets that is cannot accept liability for loss or damage, however caused, to the personal property of any person attending any event organised under the auspices of the Association. CISC recommends all delegates ensure that they have their own adequate insurance in place prior to attendance at an event.
Data Protection
Sponsorship from corporate partners helps with the organisation of our events and enables us to offer a wide range of events and webinars throughout the year. Information that is readily available in the public domain or on the CISC website, such as your name, school and general email address, may be shared with CISC partners such as sponsors and exhibitors.
• Any personal data provided to CISC partners is provided strictly for use in connection with the event(s).
• CISC shall not be liable to in respect of any goods or services that are advertised or promoted by CISC partners. Schools should make their own inquiries to ensure goods and services offered by those suppliers are suitable for purpose, are of satisfactory quality or provided with reasonable skill and care and that any terms of business under which those goods and services are supplied have been read and agreed.

All issues relating to the sale of tickets and the hosting of their associated event(s) are the responsibility of the account holder known herein as the “Event Organiser” using the TryBooking UK Ltd website to manage this event and not that of TryBooking UK Ltd., its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, other partners and employees known herein as “TryBooking UK”. 1. TryBooking UK is not responsible for the Terms and Conditions or any other instructions or directives imposed by the Event Organiser. 2. TryBooking UK is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the purchase of this ticket. 3. TryBooking UK cannot exchange or refund this ticket. 4. The additional booking fee that may apply when purchasing tickets via the TryBooking UK Ltd website is not negotiable or refundable and can be subject to change at TryBooking UK's sole discretion. 5. A cancelled, postponed or altered event does not constitute an obligation by TryBooking UK to substitute, refund or provide other compensation monetary or otherwise. 6. Any dispute which may arise regarding the booking of this event or the way in which this event is conducted or the conditions in which this event is held is solely between the ticket holder and the Event Organiser and not a part of TryBooking UK's responsibilities.
