Event Terms and Conditions - Keswick to Kendal Challenge (K2K) 2024
1. Registration and Deposit:
To participate in the Keswick to Kendal Challenge (K2K) 2024, individuals or teams of 4 must register through the
provided TryBooking page link.
A non-refundable registration fee of £10 per person is required to secure your place in the event. This deposit is due
before March 28th, 2024.
2. Event Details:
• The Keswick to Kendal Challenge offers three route options: 30 miles (Keswick to Kendal), 15 miles (Ambleside to Kendal), or 6 miles (Staveley to Kendal).
• The event will start at 7:00 am from Moot Hall in Keswick and conclude in the Market Place, Kendal, approximately 10 hours later.
• Participants should ensure they have appropriate walking shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, sufficient food and drink, and a basic first aid kit, including blister plasters.
• A reasonable level of fitness is required, and participants should be prepared for up to 10 hours of walking. It is advised to arrive at Keswick Moot Hall well in advance of the start time.
3. Fundraising Requirements:
• Participants are required to commit to a minimum fundraising pledge of £100 per person, to be raised through their individual or team efforts.

4. Age and Accessibility:
• The event is open to individuals aged 18 and above.
• The Keswick to Kendal Challenge route is not suitable for wheelchairs.
5. Event Cap and Sponsorship:
• Participation is capped at 70 individuals due to licensing restrictions.
• Sponsorship logos will be featured on the CSSL website.

7. Charity Information:
• Keswick to Kendal Challenge is organised to support Carer Support South Lakes (CSSL), an independent Kendal-based charity dedicated to improving the lives of over 1900 unpaid Carers across the South Lakes. (Registered Charity Number 1142184).
By registering for the Keswick to Kendal Challenge, participants agree to abide by these terms and conditions. The organisers reserve the right to modify the terms and conditions as needed.
