Please note: If you are feeling unwell or experiencing symptoms associated with Coronavirus (Covid-19) do not come to the garden.
If you are unable for any reason to make your visit after booking, you may cancel your workshop up to 7 days before the event for a full refund. We will not be able to accommodate refund requests thereafter. To cancel your booking, please email:

A minimum of 4 bookings are required in order for the workshop to go ahead. If we do not have enough bookings to proceed with the class, we will notify you no later than 3 days before the event.
Visitors are asked to display their booking confirmation and valid Friends, Season or Residents passes on arrival at the garden. You will not be allowed entry to the garden without confirmation of your booking.
The health and safety of our visitors and staff remains our top priority. We ask that all our visitors familiarise themselves with the latest Government advice.
To maintain accessibility for all our visitors we have:
Maintained full accessibility across the garden, gift shop and garden plants sale area
A limited number of wheelchairs are available. To book, please email info@helmsleywalledgarden.org.uk preferably with 24 hours’ notice
Members of staff on hand to bring you a wheelchair to use while you wait
Accessible toilet facilities available at the garden entrance
Opening hours:
Wednesday to Sunday 10am till 4pm last entry. Gates close at 5pm
The garden will be closed from 18th December until 1st March 2023
One carer or companion is admitted free of charge per wheelchair user, visually impaired visitor or another person whose disability necessitates a carer.
Accessibility at the garden

Drone usage
We do not allow either personal or unauthorised commercial drone usage in the garden. Commercial drone operators with suitable training and licences from the Civil Aviation Authority may operate drones in the garden with the permission of the marketing and communications manager.
Dogs in the garden
Dogs are welcome in all parts of the garden.
Garden seating
There are many benches around the garden to sit and enjoy the view. All paths are flat and there are no steps
Garden toys
Toys such as scooters or balls are not permitted in the garden.
Smoking policy
We operate a no-smoking policy, inclusive of e-cigarettes throughout all areas of the garden.

Admission
Special offers and two-for-one tokens are not valid on Garden Event Days.
