Terms and Conditions for the After-School Program at Lancing College Prep School Worthing
1. Bookings and Payments
• All bookings for the After-School Program are made on a half-term basis, covering approximately 5 sessions per half-term.
• Payments are required in advance to secure your child’s place in the program. All payments are non-refundable, regardless of attendance.
• Places on future terms are not guaranteed; re-enrolment is subject to availability.
2. Educational Outcomes
• While our program aims to support academic and personal growth, we do not guarantee specific exam results or academic performance improvements.
• Regular progress updates will be provided to parents and carers at the end of each half-term via email.
3. Behaviour and Expectations
• Our After-School Program adheres to the school’s Behaviour Policy. We expect all participants to show respect for staff, peers, and the school environment.
• Consistent or serious behavioural issues may result in the removal of a child from the program, with no refund provided. Parents and carers will be notified promptly if any behavioural concerns arise.
4. Additional Needs and Inclusion
• Lancing College Prep School Worthing values inclusivity and understands that each child is unique, with individual needs and learning styles.
• If your child has additional needs that require specific support, please contact us in advance to discuss whether our club environment will be able to meet these needs effectively.
• We will work with you to determine any reasonable adjustments; however, we cannot guarantee the provision of specialized one-to-one support within the program setting.
5. Nut-Free Environment
• To ensure the safety of all participants, our school operates a strict nut-free policy. Please do not send any food items containing nuts with your child to the program.
6. Late Pick-Up Supplement and Uncollected Child Policy
• The After-School Program concludes at the scheduled time each day. Parents and carers are expected to pick up their children promptly.
• A late pick-up supplement may apply if a child is not collected within 15 minutes of the session’s end.
• In accordance with our Uncollected Child Policy, if a child remains uncollected after reasonable efforts have been made to contact parents and carers, appropriate measures will be taken in line with safeguarding procedures.
7. Safeguarding and Safer Recruitment
• The school is committed to the highest standards of safeguarding. All staff involved in the After-School Program have undergone thorough background checks and are trained in child protection as per our Safeguarding and Safer Recruitment Policies.
• Any concerns regarding the safety and welfare of children during the program will be addressed following our safeguarding protocols.
8. Communication
• All communications regarding your child’s progress, updates, or any necessary information related to the program will be sent via email to the primary contact on file.
