Terms and Conditions  −  IOSH Managing Safely (Kendal)

Terms and Conditions:
All delegates must bring proof of identification on the first day of the course, i.e. passport or driving licence.

This qualification will be awarded by the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (“IOSH”). The following information will help you prepare for your course and ensure you get the most out of your learning experience.

About IOSH
As the biggest health and safety membership organisation in the world, IOSH are committed to creating a world of work which is safe, healthy, and sustainable. IOSH is one of the world leaders in health and safety training – more than 130,000 people take one of their courses every year.

About Your Centre
AfterAthena Limited and its trainers are registered with IOSH to deliver your course. We will provide you with any support materials required. We will also provide you with the end of course examination and will distribute your examination results once processed by IOSH. Please feel free to contact us with any queries ahead of your training.

Candidates - Before Your Course
AfterAthena Limited and IOSH are committed to ensuring that all candidates have an equal opportunity to achieve their chosen qualification. To this end, a range of provisions can be made for candidates with any special physical or learning needs (including foreign language candidates). AfterAthena Limited also seek to ensure that all candidates have chosen a course that is appropriate for their working practices and environments and/or progression to further training. A delegate information form will be sent to all delegates in advance so they can advise any alergies or requirements.

Examination and Certification
Your course will be followed by an examination conducted under examination conditions. Your trainer will give clear instructions on examination conduct on the day. Your completed answer sheets will be marked by the trainer and selected papers will be sent to IOSH for verification. We will then post your certificate to you if successful or provide information on re-taking your examination if not. Replacements for lost or stolen certificates are issued at the discretion of IOSH (fee payable).

Your Learning Experience
As a candidate on an IOSH course, you should expect a high standard of training provision and support. If you have any queries or concerns about your course, you should in the first instance contact AfterAthena Limited.

Substitutions
One substitution for the original nominees may be made any time unless registration has been completed for examination.

Transfers
If transferring to another course requests must be received in writing stating the date and name of the course you wish to transfer to. Please note bookings may only be transferred once.

Cancellations
If cancelling the course, requests must be received in writing. A credit note will be raised. A refund can be arranged on written request. Course cancellations may incur a charges based on the date of receipt by AfterAthena of a written request.
1 - 13 Working days before the course - 100% Fee
14 - 20 Working days before the course - 50% Fee
21 - 28 Working days before the course - 20% Fee
Please note that bookings for the same course may only be cancelled and re-booked once.
