Open Water Safety:We welcome all women no matter your sea swimming experience. Open water swimming can never be completely safe but there are ways of reducing risks; we ask all attendees to listen to their bodies, never swim alone; acclimatise to the water temperature slowly; use a tow float if preferred and essentially familiarise themselves with water safety safety guidelines from HM Coastguard hmcoastguard.uk

Warm hats and neoprene socks and gloves will provide comfort and warmth whilst in the water and we strongly suggest you bring a towel, warm layers and a hot water bottle, if preferred for afterwards. B&B branded Big Bobble hats will be available to buy on the day (cash £30) with all proceeds donated to charity.

Entry to the water is at your own risk.

Lifeguard and ambulance support will be in attendance at West Sands Beach.
