Terms and Conditions  −  London Marathon 2028 & 2029 for Bendrigg Trust

Apply here for our 2028 or 2029 charity places. If you are successful, there is a £100 registration fee payable upon acceptance of the place, payable to Bendigg (a link will be sent to make payment).

There's a minimum sponsorship of £2,750 (excluding gift aid) for one of our charity places. Many employers offer 'matched funding', which may help you on your way with fundraising. We can provide guidance and support with your fundraising. Our preferred platform for online fundraising is Just Giving.

Please give as much detail as possible about how you plan to raise your target amount and why you want to support us.

For people who already have a general ballot place, we would love you to support our work by running for us and gathering sponsorship. There is no minimum amount to be raised, if you have a general ballot place.

All entrants must be 18 or over on Marathon Day. To receive a finisher’s medal, you must complete the event by the official cut-off time.

You can use the following wheeled equipment or device:

Standard day chairs/wheelchairs with a maximum width of 95cm and length of 2.20m (entered into the mass participation event) – a FreeWheel attachment may be also used.
Race Runners – but please email us first if you wish to use one of these.
Crutches, frames or walkers that are not motorised or geared.

If you require assistance to be able participate in this event using our charity place - please let us know in your application.

You need to make your own way to London and back, we are unable to contribute to travel costs.

You are unable to transfer your place to anyone else, registration fee for the charity place is non-refundable.

We are not liable for any injury sustained during training or at the event itself, you participate at your own risk.

The additional booking fee that may apply when purchasing tickets via the TryBooking UK Ltd website is not negotiable or refundable and can be subject to change at TryBooking UK's sole discretion. 5. A cancelled, postponed or altered event does not constitute an obligation by TryBooking UK to substitute, refund or provide other compensation monetary or otherwise. 6. Any dispute which may arise regarding the booking of this event or the way in which this event is conducted or the conditions in which this event is held is solely between the ticket holder and the Event Organiser and not a part of TryBooking UK's responsibilities.
