DEFINITIONS
“We” and “us” means STAPT Limited (St Andrews Preservation Trust) or any appointed representative thereof from the Trust or its Museum (St Andrews Heritage Museum & Garden). “Our” and “ours” are implied by extension.
“You” means you or any other person for whom you are purchasing a ticket, or anyone acting on your behalf. “Your” and “yours” are implied by extension.
“Tour” means the event for which you are purchasing a tour
ticket, as described on this website, at the time or times and on the date or dates you have selected.
“Ticket” means admission to the tour, in the form of an email delivered electronically.
“Guide” refers to the individual who is conducting and delivering the tour.

TICKETS
Tickets are sold in the form of an email which contains the details of your purchase, and which are delivered electronically via this website. We do not send out physical tickets.
If you have not received your ticket within a few minutes of purchasing, and have checked spam or junk mail folders, you should contact us on museum@stapt.org.uk

HERITAGE TOUR
The tour will depart on the scheduled date and start time. If you are late and the tour has departed and you are unable to join it, we will try to reschedule your tour for another time. When you arrive, please present your ticket to the guide in the form of a printed-out paper copy, or on the screen of an electronic device. Guides wear blue lanyards with their name and logo of ‘St Andrews Heritage Museum & Garden’.

DISABLED ACCESS
While the tour route is pedestrianised and accessible, please be aware that there are cobbled pavements along a section of the route that can be difficult to navigate. Please do make us aware of any accessibility needs at the time of booking.

REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS
If you are unable to attend a tour for which you have purchased tickets we can transfer your tickets to a tour at a different time or date, or to another person with 48 hours notice.

LOSS, DAMAGE, INJURY, DEATH
Our liability to you is limited to the purchase price of the tickets you have purchased. We cannot be held responsible for the loss or damage to your personal property during the tour. You are solely responsible for your own safety and that of any children in your party. We shall not be responsible for any death or personal injury during the tour.
In the event that a tour has to be cancelled, we will not be liable for any travel or other costs you incur. In no circumstance shall we be liable for any indirect, special or consequential loss, including but not limited to loss of profit, data, revenue, business opportunity, anticipated savings, goodwill or reputation whether in contract, tort or otherwise arising out of or in connection with this agreement or purchases made through this website, save where such liability cannot be excluded by law.

PRIVACY
We will use your personal information only for the purposes of providing the tour to you, and will not divulge it to any third party, save as required to our contracted service providers for the necessary operation of this website (e.g. payment processing). We will not store your payment card details. Personal data shall be processed in accordance with the Company’s Data Protection Policy. GENERAL
If any provision of any of these terms and conditions is held to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severed and the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions of the terms and conditions shall not be affected.
We may modify any of these terms and conditions at any time by providing the modified terms each time you make a purchase, therefore you should check these terms each time you make a purchase.
All disclaimers, indemnities and exclusions in these terms and conditions shall survive termination of the agreement between you and us for any reason.
The parties shall not assign this agreement to any other party without the other’s consent.
No part of this agreement is enforceable by anyone who is not a party to it, pursuant to the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
These terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

All issues relating to the sale of tickets and the hosting of their associated event(s) are the responsibility of the account holder known herein as the “Event Organiser” using the TryBooking UK Ltd website to manage this event and not that of TryBooking UK Ltd., its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, other partners and employees known herein as “TryBooking UK”. 1. TryBooking UK is not responsible for the Terms and Conditions or any other instructions or directives imposed by the Event Organiser. 2. TryBooking UK is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the purchase of this ticket. 3. TryBooking UK cannot exchange or refund this ticket. 4. The additional booking fee that may apply when purchasing tickets via the TryBooking UK Ltd website is not negotiable or refundable and can be subject to change at TryBooking UK's sole discretion. 5. A cancelled, postponed or altered event does not constitute an obligation by TryBooking UK to substitute, refund or provide other compensation monetary or otherwise. 6. Any dispute which may arise regarding the booking of this event or the way in which this event is conducted or the conditions in which this event is held is solely between the ticket holder and the Event Organiser and not a part of TryBooking UK's responsibilities.
