Privacy Notice: Maycamp

We collect and use the following data: Name, address, email address, telephone number, date of birth and church name. We use this data for the purpose of event administration and for the purpose of ensuring the safety of attendees. We collect and use this information on the basis of legitimate interest. We will retain this data for a term of 7 (seven) years.

Additionally, we may collect and use photographic data relating to you and/or your companions during Maycamp. We do this by making video recordings of the event, which may include footage in which people attending the event are identifiable. We use this photographic data for the purposes of promotion and to showcase the event to the wider public. We only process (use) this video data on the basis of consent. We will ask you to confirm your consent in this booking (including consent for video data related to any children who you are responsible for at the event). This video data will be retained for a maximum term of 10 (ten) years.

The data processor is Dan Jenkins, Diocesan Youth Officer at the Chichester Diocesan Fund and Board of Finance (hereafter referred to as the DFBF). The data owner is the DFBF.

If you are unhappy with the use and/or retention of your personal data you can make a complaint by contacting the DFBF’s Data Protection Officer at data.protection@chichester.anglican.org or by calling 01273 425 029. You have the right to erasure where data is used and/or retained on the basis of legitimate interest. You may withdraw your consent for data used and/or retained on the basis of consent.
