Terms and Conditions  −  Forest and Frequency - Screening and panel discussion

The following terms and conditions apply between you, the University of Nottingham and partners (if applicable). The terms do not affect your statutory rights.

General
All tickets are booked subject to availability and to these terms and conditions, which should be read carefully prior to purchase and any queries relating to them should be raised with us prior to booking, as booking constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
It is your responsibility to check your tickets. Mistakes cannot always be rectified after purchase. Please check your tickets on receipt carefully and contact us immediately if there is a mistake.

Delivery
Tickets will be provided digitally to the primary email address of the account holder.

Refunds and Exchanges
Tickets cannot be exchanged after purchase.
Tickets must not be resold nor supplied to an ineligible party without permission. We reserve the right to cancel tickets or refuse admission without notice.
Any unwanted tickets should be cancelled through the ticket sale website.

Liability
Personal arrangements relating to the event which have been arranged by you are at your own risk. We will not be responsible for any loss, theft or damage of your personal belongings, unless caused because of our negligence or that of the venue or the promoter or other breach of statutory duty.
Although we take every care to ensure accuracy, we make no warranties as to the accuracy of the information on our web pages.
The extent of our liability for any breach of these terms and conditions shall be limited to the value of the goods ordered by you in the relevant transaction, however nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury as a result of our negligence.

Cancelled and re-scheduled events
It is your responsibility to confirm an event has been cancelled or re-scheduled and the details of any re-scheduled event. Where an event is cancelled or re-scheduled, we will endeavour to notify you using the details provided at the time of ordering. We do not guarantee that you will be informed of such cancellation prior to the event.
It is your responsibility to inform us of any change to the contact details you provide us with at the time of booking.

Use of Details and Data Protection
The University of Nottingham is registered as a Data Controller under the Data Protection Act 2018 (registration No. Z5654762). We will process your personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA). This privacy notice is issued in accordance with GDPR Articles 13 and 14.

We will never share, sell, rent or trade your personal information to any third parties for marketing purposes without your prior consent.

Restrictions and Prohibitions
Unless prior permission has been granted, Ticket holders shall not bring into the venue, display or distribute (whether for free or not) at the event any sponsorship, promotional or marketing materials.

Health and Safety
Ticket holders must comply with all relevant statutes, safety announcements and venue regulations whilst attending the event.

Void Tickets
Any ticket obtained in breach of these terms and conditions and all rights conferred or evidenced by such a ticket shall be void. Any person seeking to use a void ticket to gain or provide entry may be subject to appropriate action.

Conditions of Admission
We reserve the right to refuse ticket holders admission to the venue on justified grounds.
We also reserve the right to request that ticket holders leave at any point on reasonable grounds and may take appropriate action to enforce this right. No refunds will be given to ticket holders who are refused entry or ejected due to their behaviour.

If we delay or fail to enforce any of these terms and conditions, it shall not mean that we have waived our right.


TERMS AND CONDITIONS

All issues relating to the sale of tickets and the hosting of their associated event(s) are the responsibility of the account holder known herein as the “Event Organiser” using the TryBooking UK Ltd website to manage this event and not that of TryBooking UK Ltd., its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, other partners and employees known herein as “TryBooking UK”. 1. TryBooking UK is not responsible for the Terms and Conditions or any other instructions or directives imposed by the Event Organiser. 2. TryBooking UK is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the purchase of this ticket. 3. TryBooking UK cannot exchange or refund this ticket. 4. The additional booking fee that may apply when purchasing tickets via the TryBooking UK Ltd website is not negotiable or refundable and can be subject to change at TryBooking UK's sole discretion. 5. A cancelled, postponed or altered event does not constitute an obligation by TryBooking UK to substitute, refund or provide other compensation monetary or otherwise. 6. Any dispute which may arise regarding the booking of this event or the way in which this event is conducted or the conditions in which this event is held is solely between the ticket holder and the Event Organiser and not a part of TryBooking UK's responsibilities.
