1. General
1.1. By purchasing a ticket or entering Oaklands College Zoo, all visitors agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions.
1.2. Oaklands College Zoo is part of Oaklands College and operates as an educational facility alongside its public visitor offer.
1.3. Oaklands College Zoo reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.

2. Bookings & Admission
2.1. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable, except in the event of a full closure at the discretion of the Senior Management Team.
2.2. Visitors do not need to print tickets – digital copies may be shown on arrival.
2.3. Children under the age of 3 are admitted free of charge. All children aged 3 and above require a valid ticket.
2.4. Visitors under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

3. Site Regulations
3.1. We are a cashless site; only card payments are accepted.
3.2. Roller skates, skateboards, bicycles, scooters, and Heelys are not permitted on site.
3.3. Smoking, including e-cigarettes and vaping, is only permitted in designated areas.
3.4. No dogs or other pets are allowed on the premises (including being left in vehicles).
3.5. Guide, assistance, and service dogs may be permitted by prior arrangement – please contact us in advance at: contactcentre@oaklands.ac.uk.

4. Behaviour & Conduct
4.1. Oaklands College Zoo reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any person who:
• Engages in abusive, threatening, or disruptive behaviour
• Is under the influence of drugs or alcohol
• Acts in a way that may endanger animals, staff, or other visitors
4.2. Visitors must not:
• Enter or attempt to enter animal enclosures
• Feed animals unless as part of a supervised experience
• Bang on glass or place any part of the body through railings or fences
• Shout, play loud audio, or disturb animals
• Throw items or behave recklessly on site

5. Animal Welfare & Closures
5.1. The welfare of our animals is our top priority. Animals may be taken off public view at any time without prior notice.
5.2. Exhibits, talks, or events may be altered, postponed, or cancelled due to:
• Animal health or welfare needs
• Technical or operational issues
• Maintenance or repair work
• Adverse weather or power failure
5.3. Refunds will not be provided in the event of partial closure or poor weather unless the Zoo is officially closed by management.

6. Photography & Filming
6.1. Photography and filming for personal use are permitted.
6.2. Commercial photography, public broadcasting, or student projects must be authorised in advance.

7.1. We comply with current UK Data Protection legislation.
7.2. We do not sell, trade, or rent personal data.
7.3. Information provided will only be used for:
• Booking and record-keeping

7.4. We may share data only when necessary to deliver a service (e.g., payment processing).
