ACCESS
Access to the chapel can be gained via Northgate; turn right on to Northgate at The Cross Inn, then around 50 yards down the road on the right is a short cobbled descent to the gate to the chapel yard.

Alternatively, from the village public car park, go to the far end (from the perspective of where you entered) and you will find some steps to the left on to a path. Follow that path straight forward, turn left up the snicket at the end, then go through the archway in the way on your left. The chapel is on your right.

Please note that there is currently no wheelchair access to the chapel. Whilst the Friends of Heptonstall Chapel and Sunday school have plans for future development which include wheelchair access, access to the site currently presents a number of obstacles inaccessible to wheelchair users.

PARKING
Free parking is available in the public car park, entrance right next to Towngate Tea Room. Spaces are limited!
Alternatively, free parking is also available 10 minutes' walk away from the chapel at Heptonstall Bowling and Social Club. Turn left off the main road just before the cobbles start, then left again and continue to the end of the road (parking opens out on your left).
