Ticket Purchase Terms and Conditions
By purchasing tickets for the "Elf Trail at Longton Winter Wonderland" (the "Event"), you (the "Purchaser" and/or "Ticket Holder") agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions (the "Terms").
1. General Ticket Conditions
1.1. Revocable License: The ticket is a revocable license to attend the Event at the specified date and time. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse admission or revoke the license (and require the Ticket Holder to leave the Event) without refund if the Ticket Holder breaches these Terms or for safety, security, or operational reasons.
1.2. Confirmation: The purchase is only confirmed once full payment is received and an official confirmation email or electronic ticket is issued by the Organiser or its authorised agent.
1.3. Ticket Validity: Tickets are valid only for the date and time slot specified on the ticket. Late arrival may result in entry being refused or delayed, and no refund will be issued.
1.4. No Resale: Tickets are for personal use only and may not be resold, exchanged, or transferred for commercial gain without the express written permission of the Organiser.
2. Event Nature and Participation
2.1. Event Format: The Event is an outdoor walking trail activity across various locations within the village of Longton, Lancashire. It requires physical movement between locations.
2.2. Suitable Age: The event is designed for children of all ages. All children, regardless of age, must have a valid ticket.
2.3. Adult Supervision is Mandatory:
* All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult (aged 18 or over) at all times.
* The ratio of children to adults must not exceed [Specify Ratio, e.g., four (4) children per one (1) responsible adult].
* Parents/Guardians are fully and solely responsible for the safety, supervision, and conduct of the children in their care throughout the entire Event, including on public footpaths and roads.
2.4. Route Safety: The Event takes place in a public, non-secured area. Ticket Holders are responsible for observing all road safety laws, local signage, and common sense when traversing the route. The Organiser is not responsible for the safety of Ticket Holders in respect of third-party hazards, including but not limited to, traffic, uneven pavements, or other members of the public.
2.5. Weather: The Event will proceed regardless of weather conditions (e.g., rain, snow, cold), unless the Organiser deems the conditions to be a significant threat to safety. Ticket Holders should dress appropriately for the prevailing weather. Refunds will not be issued due to inclement weather unless the Event is officially cancelled by the Organiser (see Section 4).
3. Refunds and Cancellations (By Purchaser)
3.1. All Sales are Final: Except as otherwise set forth in these Terms, all ticket purchases are non-refundable and non-exchangeable after purchase.
3.2. Ticket Transfers: Tickets may not be transferred to a different date or time slot once purchased.
3.3. Non-Attendance: No refunds or compensation will be issued for non-attendance for any reason, including but not limited to illness, traffic, or other personal circumstances.
4. Cancellation or Changes (By Organiser)
4.1. Event Cancellation: If the Event is cancelled in its entirety by the Organiser for any reason (including but not limited to extreme weather or safety concerns), the Purchaser will be offered the option of either:
* A full refund of the ticket price (excluding any non-refundable booking fees), or
* Transferring the ticket to a rescheduled date (if applicable).
4.2. Alterations to the Event: The Organiser reserves the right to alter the content, timing, or route of the Event at any time without notice if circumstances beyond its reasonable control require such changes. No refunds will be issued in the event of minor modifications or changes to the activities.
4.3. Notification: The Organiser will use reasonable endeavours to notify Ticket Holders of any cancellation or significant changes by email and/or through the official event website/social media channels.
5. Liability and Indemnity
5.1. Limitation of Liability: The Organiser accepts no liability for any loss, damage, or injury sustained by the Ticket Holder or any property howsoever arising, including but not limited to travel to/from the Event, participation in the Event, or loss or damage to personal belongings.
5.2. Indemnity: The Ticket Holder agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Organiser against all claims, liabilities, costs, and expenses that may arise as a result of their, or the children under their supervision, attendance at the Event, including any breach of these Terms.
6. Photography and Media
6.1. Consent: By attending the Event, Ticket Holders acknowledge that professional photographers or videographers may be present and that images/video footage featuring the Ticket Holder and/or the children in their care may be taken.
6.2. Usage: The Ticket Holder consents to the Organiser using such photographs and/or videos in any media for the purpose of promotion, advertising, or publicity relating to future events, without further consent or payment.
6.3. Opt-Out: If you do not consent to your images or those of the children in your care being used, you must notify the Organiser in writing before 31st October 2025.
7. Behaviour and Conduct
7.1. Respect for the Village: As the event takes place in a residential village, Ticket Holders must respect local residents and private property. Noise should be kept to a minimum, and no littering is permitted.
7.2. Refusal of Entry/Ejection: The Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any person from the Event who, in the reasonable opinion of the Organiser, behaves in a disorderly, disruptive, or offensive manner, or who poses a risk to the safety of others, without refund.
BY PURCHASING THIS TICKET, YOU CONFIRM THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY ALL THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS STATED ABOVE.

This ticket was produced using the TryBooking UK Ltd website. All issues relating to the sale of tickets and the hosting of their associated event(s) are the responsibility of the account holder known herein as the “Event Organiser” using the TryBooking UK Ltd website to manage this event and not that of TryBooking UK Ltd., its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, other partners and employees known herein as “TryBooking UK”. 1. TryBooking UK is not responsible for the Terms and Conditions or any other instructions or directives imposed by the Event Organiser. 2. TryBooking UK is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the purchase of this ticket. 3. TryBooking UK cannot exchange or refund this ticket. 4. The additional booking fee that may apply when purchasing tickets via the TryBooking UK Ltd website is not negotiable or refundable and can be subject to change at TryBooking UK's sole discretion. 5. A cancelled, postponed or altered event does not constitute an obligation by TryBooking UK to substitute, refund or provide other compensation monetary or otherwise. 6. Any dispute which may arise regarding the booking of this event or the way in which this event is conducted or the conditions in which this event is held is solely between the ticket holder and the Event Organiser and not a part of TryBooking UK's responsibilities.
