This event is organised by the Abbey Church of Dunfermline, who hold Public Liability Insurance through the Church of Scotland.
Prior to the event the route will be risk assessed and where there are potential hazards, warning will be given or a steward placed to remind participants to take care.
Participants are asked to:
Dress for the weather.
Watch their footing as they walk.
Remember they will be walking in the dark, although as part of a larger group.
Use recyclable or sustainable products where possible.
Listen to the advice from the stewards.
Use LED tea lights or fairy lights - please DO NOT use lit candles.
Please DO NOT use glass when making a lantern
All under 16 year olds must be accompanied by an adult.
Adults are responsible for the children/young people in their care.
Admission on the evening will only be for those who have booked.
In the event of inclement weather, please make your way directly to the Abbey Church for an indoor alternative. Please watch Facebook and Instagram where notice will be given if this needs to happen.
