Terms and Conditions

GENERAL

Your donation to Rosemere Cancer Charity is non-refundable and non-transferable.

The organisers reserve the right to refuse admission in any reasonable circumstance.

Display vehicle owners must ensure drivers are fully competent and have a valid and appropriate licence and be qualified to drive or handle the exhibit or entry.

Owners are responsible for their own personal effects. The organisers do not accept responsibility for any property lost or damaged at the event and as a result cannot be held liable.

The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risk and danger incidental to the event.

Litter must be bagged and placed in the bins provided. No rubbish or waste is to be left on the Green

In the event that the main arena is full, display vehicles arriving after 10.00 am may be refused entry via the main access points onto site and redirected to the public car park.

Exhibitors must display their ticket on their vehicles. In the case of club bookings, the lead vehicle should display the ticket. Clubs should try to arrive together.

This event may be filmed and/or photographed. Attendance at our event affirms your consent to be used as a member of the show.

The use of video or stills photography equipment for commercial gain is forbidden without the express prior consent of the organisers.

Trade stands can be on site from 5.00 am and must open for business at 10.00 am.

SAFETY

A MAXIMUM speed of 5 MPH shall apply to all moving vehicles on the site or any part of the show. Any exhibitor found to be exceeding the speed limit will be asked to leave.

All owners and drivers must obey Marshals’ instructions and not inconvenience or endanger any persons or animals on the site or on any part of the show.

Please use your indicator lights as usual when the vehicle is moving, do not apply hazard lights.

Pedestrians always have priority.

Children must be supervised at all times.

Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and any mess cleared up properly; dog owners must use designated bins for disposal of waste.

NO exhibit or entry may be left running unattended. Unattended vehicles MUST be left securely ‘braked and immobilized’ (ignition keys must be removed).

During peak times, vehicles may only be moved if under the control of a Marshal, this can be arranged from the admin desk. At least half an hour will be required to organise this.

A fire extinguisher in your classic car is to be recommended.

Fully qualified medical staff are on site. Please familiarise yourself with their location.

Our Admin tents will deal with general enquiries and are a collection point for lost children and lost property.

INSURANCE

All vehicles are exhibited at owner’s risk.

All vehicles on display must be insured. Insurance must cover the driver and the use of the vehicle for the date of the event, in compliance with the Road Traffic Acts.

It is recommended that clubs should be indemnified against injury, damage or loss sustained by third parties arising from any displays or equipment in use. The minimum indemnity should be £1m.

All Trade Stands, Auto-Jumble, Craft and other Stalls or Stands, must be covered by Public Liability Insurance, a copy of which MUST be made available to Authorised show Officials if requested.

ADVERTISING

No advertising is allowed on any private exhibiting vehicles. Cars can be offered for sale

All clubs are invited to display a banner or board with their name clearly indicated. A prize will be awarded to the best club stand.

Clubs may use our event to promote their activities and recruit new members and sell club regalia.


JUDGING

All vehicles will be judged in various categories. Awards are decided by judges representing this organisation and whose decision is final.

DATA PROTECTION

Your name, address, telephone number, email and car details are being collected by and on behalf of Lytham car show. This will be used for the event management and entry list. It will be securely stored and not used for any other purpose or shared with other organisations, we will, however, inform you of our future events. You have the right to withdraw your consent to use your data.

All issues relating to the sale of tickets and the hosting of their associated event(s) are the responsibility of the account holder known herein as the “Event Organiser” using the TryBooking UK Ltd website to manage this event and not that of TryBooking UK Ltd., its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, other partners and employees known herein as “TryBooking UK”. 1. TryBooking UK is not responsible for the Terms and Conditions or any other instructions or directives imposed by the Event Organiser. 2. TryBooking UK is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the purchase of this ticket. 3. TryBooking UK cannot exchange or refund this ticket. 4. The additional booking fee that may apply when purchasing tickets via the TryBooking UK Ltd website is not negotiable or refundable and can be subject to change at TryBooking UK's sole discretion. 5. A cancelled, postponed or altered event does not constitute an obligation by TryBooking UK to substitute, refund or provide other compensation monetary or otherwise. 6. Any dispute which may arise regarding the booking of this event or the way in which this event is conducted or the conditions in which this event is held is solely between the ticket holder and the Event Organiser and not a part of TryBooking UK's responsibilities.
