The Christian Heritage Centre operates on a charitable basis, offering opportunities for formation in the Catholic tradition on a less-than-cost basis.
The advertised cost of our events reflects the cost of the services provided by Theodore House, a subsidiary and commercial operation that also operates on a non-profit basis, and of the speakers engaged to deliver content on our behalf.
Bookings made for our events incur both administrative costs for the charity and staffing and materials costs for Theodore House, which plans to service our events on the basis of the bookings taken.
Deposits
A deposit is required at the time of booking to hold the requested place(s) on that event for the customer. Such deposits are ordinarily non-refundable. They may be refunded at the charity’s discretion if the requested place can be fulfilled by another customer.
Final payments
Payment of the balance of the event cost must be made no less than one week (seven days) prior to the event start date, in order to confirm the provision of services by Theodore House for that booking.
The charity may release places that are not fully paid for by this date or may accept final payment beyond this date at its discretion.
Balance payments after this date are ordinarily non-refundable.
Cancellations
Any cancellation made after the final payment date will not be eligible for a refund of the monies paid. At its discretion, the charity may offer a credit of up to 50% of the value of the booking to be used against a future booking.
Late bookings
Bookings made after the final payment date will be accepted at the charity’s discretion.
