Deaf Village Christmas Event – Terms & Conditions
By purchasing a ticket and/or attending this event, you agree to the following conditions.
1. Tickets & Entry
All attendees must hold a valid ticket booked through TryBooking.
Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by Deaf Village.
Tickets may not be resold, transferred or used for promotional purposes.
Children under 16 must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
Deaf Village reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any person acting inappropriately, without refund.
2. Payments
Ticket payments must be completed online through TryBooking.
Some food, drink and activities may require payment on the day (cash or card depending on the stallholder).
Deaf Village is not responsible for lost or failed payment transactions.
3. Stallholders / Vendors
All stallholders are independently responsible for their own products, sales and payment systems.
Deaf Village is not responsible for any goods purchased from stalls and will not be involved in disputes between attendees and vendors.
Stallholders must comply with all UK trading laws and food safety regulations.
Stallholders attend and trade at their own risk and are responsible for insuring their own stock, equipment and public liability.
4. Liability & Injury Disclaimer
All attendees enter the Deaf Village site and participate in activities at their own risk.
Deaf Village, its staff, volunteers and event partners accept no responsibility for:
Personal injury or illness
Loss or damage to personal belongings
Accidents caused by misuse of equipment or failure to follow instructions
Deaf Village accepts no liability for injury, damages, or claims unless caused by proven negligence under UK law.
By attending, you agree not to bring any legal claim against Deaf Village, stallholders, contractors, or partners for any loss, injury or damage unless legally required.
5. Food & Allergens
Food and drink may be served or sold during the event.
Deaf Village cannot guarantee any food will be allergen free.
It is the attendee’s responsibility to check allergen information directly with the vendor.
Deaf Village is not liable for allergic reactions or food-related illness.
6. Accessibility
This event is Deaf-friendly and BSL-accessible.
Signing Santa, visual support and accessible activities are included.
Any additional support needs must be requested in advance via email.
7. Behaviour & Safety
Deaf Village is a safe and inclusive environment – abusive, discriminatory or threatening behaviour will not be tolerated.
Anyone failing to follow event rules may be removed without refund.
Children must be supervised at all times.
Attendees must follow all staff instructions and safety signage.
8. Personal Belongings
Deaf Village is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
Please keep valuables with you at all times.
9. Photography & Filming
Photos and video may be taken for marketing and promotional use.
If you do not wish to appear, please notify staff on arrival.
Attendees must not film or photograph others without consent.
10. Event Changes & Cancellation
Deaf Village may change elements of the event (stallholders, activities, timings) if required.
If the event is cancelled, ticket holders will receive a full refund.
No refunds will be issued for non-attendance or late arrival.
11. Legal Agreement
By attending this event, you confirm that:
✔ You understand and accept all risks involved
✔ You waive your right to bring claims except where legally unavoidable
✔ You agree to follow all instructions from Deaf Village staff and event signage

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
This ticket was produced using the TryBooking UK Ltd website. All issues relating to the sale of tickets and the hosting of their associated event(s) are the responsibility of the account holder known herein as the “Event Organiser” using the TryBooking UK Ltd website to manage this event and not that of TryBooking UK Ltd., its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, other partners and employees known herein as “TryBooking UK”. 1. TryBooking UK is not responsible for the Terms and Conditions or any other instructions or directives imposed by the Event Organiser. 2. TryBooking UK is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the purchase of this ticket. 3. TryBooking UK cannot exchange or refund this ticket. 4. The additional booking fee that may apply when purchasing tickets via the TryBooking UK Ltd website is not negotiable or refundable and can be subject to change at TryBooking UK's sole discretion. 5. A cancelled, postponed or altered event does not constitute an obligation by TryBooking UK to substitute, refund or provide other compensation monetary or otherwise. 6. Any dispute which may arise regarding the booking of this event or the way in which this event is conducted or the conditions in which this event is held is solely between the ticket holder and the Event Organiser and not a part of TryBooking UK's responsibilities.
