Terms and Conditions for Ticket Sales – Community Barn Dance

1. Purpose of the Event
The Community Barn Dance is a fundraising event hosted by Bristol Harbourside Churches at Holy Trinity Church in Hotwells. All net proceeds from ticket sales will go to support the running costs of Trinity Lunch Club, a weekly social gathering for people over 60, held at Holy Trinity Church.
2. Ticket Purchase
Tickets can only be purchased online through our authorised ticketing partner: TryBooking UK. (In person tickets are also available from the church office).
• - Ticket sales are subject to availability and may be limited per person or transaction.
• - All prices are stated in GBP (£) and may be subject to TryBooking’s booking fee at checkout.
• - Please ensure all information provided at purchase is accurate and complete.
3. Refunds, Exchanges & Cancellation
• - All ticket sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable unless the Event is cancelled.
• - If the Event is cancelled, we will refund the ticket price to the original payment method, excluding any booking or transaction fees unless required by law.
• - The Organiser is not liable for travel, accommodation, or other costs incurred by the ticket holder.
4. Changes to the Event
• - The Organiser reserves the right to make changes to the Event programme, venue, or schedule where necessary. Where possible, reasonable notice will be provided.
• - Such changes do not entitle the ticket holder to a refund unless the Event is substantially altered or cancelled.
5. Admission & Conduct
• - Admission is granted only with a valid TryBooking ticket (digital or printed) or paper ticket issued by the church office.
• - The Organiser reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any individual whose behaviour is deemed inappropriate, disruptive, or unsafe, without refund.
• - Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
6. Photography & Media Consent
• - By attending the Event, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded. These materials may be used by the Organiser for promotional and fundraising purposes on websites, social media, and publications, without compensation or prior approval.
• - If you do not wish to be included in such media, please notify a staff member upon entry.
7. Liability Disclaimer
• - You attend the Event at your own risk.
• - The Organiser accepts no liability for any loss, injury, or damage to persons or personal property, except where caused by our negligence or breach of statutory duty.
• - Please follow all health and safety instructions provided by staff or displayed at the venue.
8. Data Protection & Privacy
• - TryBooking processes payments and attendee data in accordance with UK data protection laws (including the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018).
• - Personal data will only be used for purposes related to ticketing and event communication.

9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

All issues relating to the sale of tickets and the hosting of their associated event(s) are the responsibility of the account holder known herein as the “Event Organiser” using the TryBooking UK Ltd website to manage this event and not that of TryBooking UK Ltd., its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, other partners and employees known herein as “TryBooking UK”. 1. TryBooking UK is not responsible for the Terms and Conditions or any other instructions or directives imposed by the Event Organiser. 2. TryBooking UK is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the purchase of this ticket. 3. TryBooking UK cannot exchange or refund this ticket. 4. The additional booking fee that may apply when purchasing tickets via the TryBooking UK Ltd website is not negotiable or refundable and can be subject to change at TryBooking UK's sole discretion. 5. A cancelled, postponed or altered event does not constitute an obligation by TryBooking UK to substitute, refund or provide other compensation monetary or otherwise. 6. Any dispute which may arise regarding the booking of this event or the way in which this event is conducted or the conditions in which this event is held is solely between the ticket holder and the Event Organiser and not a part of TryBooking UK's responsibilities.
