Terms and Conditions for We are Community #FXCUMBRIA Event on 19th November 2022.

Definitions and Interpretation

‘Event’ means the We are Community #FXCUMBRIA day conference.

‘Venue’ means the location of where the event is being held: Roundthorn Country House, Penrith, Cumbria, CA11 8SJ.

‘We’ means Carlisle Diocese. ‘Us’ and ‘Our’ shall be read accordingly.

‘You’ means you or anybody who in Our reasonable opinion is acting with your authority or permission. ‘Your’ shall be read accordingly.

2. Refunds/Exchanges

Tickets can be exchanged or refunded after purchase up to 30 days before the event, after which time tickets will not be refunded unless the event is cancelled or rescheduled (subject to below). Where any Event is cancelled or rescheduled (subject to below) by the organisers, where an event is cancelled or rescheduled due to circumstances beyond Our control, or where there is a material change to the programme of the Event, you will be entitled to claim a refund from US in accordance with this clause.

Where such a refund is sought You must bring this to Our attention as soon as possible upon becoming aware of such change and, where the Event has been rescheduled, prior to the rescheduled Event. The refund for Tickets equals the face value of the Tickets purchased plus the relevant per Ticket booking fee. 3. Liability

Personal arrangements including travel, accommodation or hospitality relating to the Event which have been arranged by You are at your own risk. Liability for the cancellation or rescheduling of an Event, will be limited to the refund as set forth in section 2.

Neither We nor the Venue will be responsible for any loss, theft or damage of Your personal belongings, other than caused as a result of Our negligence or that of the Venue or other breach of statutory duty.

3. Cancelled/re-scheduled Events

It is Your responsibility to ascertain whether an Event has been cancelled or re-scheduled and the date and time of any re-scheduled Event. Where an Event is cancelled or re-scheduled, We will use Our reasonable endeavours to notify You using the details You provided Us with at the time of booking. We do not guarantee that You will be informed of such cancellation before the date of the Event.

4. Use of details and Data Protection

Your details shall only be used for this event and shall not be passed on to a third party.

5. Health and Safety

Ticket holders must comply with all relevant statutes, safety announcements and Venue regulations whilst attending the Event.

If You have any special requirements or concerns about or have any access requirements, prior notice should be provided when ordering Tickets.

We reserve the right to refuse Ticket holders admission to the Venue in reasonable circumstances including for health and safety. We also reserve the right to request that Ticket holders leave the Venue at any point on reasonable grounds and may take any appropriate action to enforce this right. By way of example, We may remove a Ticket holder who:

Has behaved in the Venue in a manner which, in Our reasonable opinion has, or is likely to affect the enjoyment of other visitors; or
Uses threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or in any way provokes or behaves in a manner which may provoke a breach of the peace.

No refunds will be given to Ticket holders who are refused entry or ejected due to their own behaviour as suggested in, but not limited to, the examples above.

All issues relating to the sale of tickets and the hosting of their associated event(s) are the responsibility of the account holder known herein as the “Event Organiser” using the TryBooking UK Ltd website to manage this event and not that of TryBooking UK Ltd., its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, other partners and employees known herein as “TryBooking UK”. 1. TryBooking UK is not responsible for the Terms and Conditions or any other instructions or directives imposed by the Event Organiser. 2. TryBooking UK is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the purchase of this ticket. 3. TryBooking UK cannot exchange or refund this ticket. 4. The additional booking fee that may apply when purchasing tickets via the TryBooking UK Ltd website is not negotiable or refundable and can be subject to change at TryBooking UK's sole discretion. 5. Any dispute which may arise regarding the booking of this event or the way in which this event is conducted or the conditions in which this event is held is solely between the ticket holder and the Event Organiser and not a part of TryBooking UK's responsibilities.
