Trudi Hay's Virtual Cancer High Tea 2021
Following on from the success of last year's event, I am pleased to invite you to join me once again for a relaxing afternoon with a cup of your favourite tea or, if you prefer, a glass of bubbles.
There will be some light entertainment for your enjoyment and a few words from some key personnel at Northern Health, who will provide some insight into the Day Oncology Unit together with a COVID-19 update from the frontline. We will also have a Q&A session with Steve, James, and Nicki from Core Projects. Core Projects is a specialised project marketing and development sales team that marches to a different beat. Core Projects have been a major sponsor of my event over the last few years and they have been more than happy to support this cause.
For those who donate via our trybooking page, your name will go into the prize draw to win one of the many prizes we have available. Prizes will be delivered straight to your door after the event.
As you can imagine, while COVID-19 has kept us in lockdown, cancer continues to take its toll, even more so during this period. While hospitals are busy fighting the pandemic, many cancer cases may go undetected as people are hesitant to go to hospital to have their check-ups.
At last year’s event we raised $11,000 to fund ‘Chemo in the Home’ patient care packs and an ECG Machine for the Day Oncology Unit. This year, our wish is to purchase another important piece of equipment for the Day Oncology Unit. We have our sights on one of two pieces depending on how much money we raise together.
All donations over $2.00 will be issued with a receipt.
I look forward to spending a relaxing and insightful afternoon in your company.
