Organisations that overlook menopause as a legitimate cause for loss of talent are unknowingly opting out of a chance to create more proactive workplaces, stronger teams, and better margins.
Menopause symptoms negatively affect work performance and engagement for many women. Due to the stigma surrounding menopause, women may not feel supported to share the physiological, emotional and psychological impacts it has on them and their work. As a result, a significant portion of women and others who experience menopause consider leaving their jobs, even though they might be at the peak of their careers.
This Knowledge Share Forum aims to build leadership awareness around menopause and help leaders and HR teams create frameworks and policies that will retain their best talent.
