The Derbyshire Unstrictly Dancing Fundraiser is a dazzling charity event designed to bring together local celebrities, professional dancers, and the community for a night of fun, entertainment, and generosity. Not only will you see some brave local 'celebrities' take to the floor, but there will also be show dances, a live band and many surprises.

Inspired by popular dance competitions, this unique fundraiser pairs well-known figures with experienced dance professionals, who train and guide them through weeks of rehearsals before they take to the dance floor in a spectacular live competition. While the performances showcase dedication and skill, the real focus is on enjoyment, laughter, and raising vital funds for charity.

All profits will go to the Lewis Sewell Memorial Trust, The Living Recovery Foundation, Rebuild East Midlands, and the evening will be funding places for young people at Derby Kids' Camp and Derbyshire Children’s Holiday Centre.


The event is delivered by Unity is Community CIC, run by Theresa Peltier DL and Jonathan Leach.

What to Expect

• Meal package: Sparkling drinks reception at 5:30 pm. A two-course dinner is served at your table. Wine on your table. A spectacular show. Note: Menu choices will be requested at a later date. Menu below.
• Light bite grazing package: Delicious grazing bowls served at 6.30 pm and a spectacular show. 
• The show: Live dance performances, a band, the judges, brilliant comperes and a great fun competition.
• Charity auction and fundraising moments (no obligation to participate)
• Show begins at 7:45 pm

Wear your most sparkly outfit or simply come in whatever you feel comfortable in.

There will be an opportunity to dance once the competition has finished!

Tables and seats will be allocated at the point of booking.

There is free on-site parking available.

Starters

(A) A Summer leaf salad of crumbled feta cheese & strips of

prosciutto, mixed beans & fresh summer herbs on a

bruschetta crouton, drizzled with a honey, lemon & thyme

dressing.

(B) Italian frittata with spinach, cherry tomatoes, onion &

cheese on swirls of green pesto, served with rocket, radish &

red onion saladette with citrus dressing (V).

Mains

(1) Braised chicken thigh served with a creamy Dijon

mustard, white wine & tarragon sauce, dauphinoise potatoes,

fine shredded savoy cabbage, courgettes & green beans.
 

(2) Fillet of salmon, parmesan cheese & herb crumb gratin

on a tomato & kale sauce, dauphinoise potatoes & fine

shredded savoy cabbage, courgettes & green beans
 

(3) Roasted lightly spiced vegetable pastry wellington

surrounded with a tomato & kale sauce, dauphinoise

potatoes, fine shredded savoy cabbage, courgettes & green

beans. (V).
