Weeks beginning 6 and 13 July · Betteshanger, Deal, Kent

Northbourne Park School's Summer Programme offers two weeks of sport, adventure, outdoor learning and academic enrichment for children aged 5 to 13, set across the school's extensive countryside grounds and neighbouring Betteshanger Park.

Three programmes are available:

Holiday Club

Multi-Sports

Exam Preparation

(ages 5–7)

A varied mix of arts and crafts, team games, sport and Forest School for younger children, based in Northbourne Park's Pre-Prep and led by school staff. Running Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 4.00 pm.

(ages 8–13)

Morning sports sessions led by the school's sports department, covering a broad range of activities with an emphasis on teamwork, skill development and trying new things. Each afternoon, participants join the Outdoor Adventure Programme.

(ages 8–11)

A focused, small-group programme with a maximum of 16 places per week, led by former Northbourne Park Deputy Head Alex Thompson. Designed to build confidence and strengthen core skills ahead of 11+ examinations. Each afternoon, participants join the Outdoor Adventure Programme.

 

The Outdoor Adventure Programme

The highlight of the Multi-Sports and Exam Preparation weeks. Each afternoon, children join international pupils from the English Summer Adventure Camp for a timetabled programme of archery, survival skills, orienteering, fossil hunting and more, led by specialist instructors at school and at Betteshanger Park. Evening activities and dinner are available until 8.00 pm, with limited overnight boarding also possible.

All programmes include a hot lunch. Places are limited.

Ultimate Frisbee

Mountain Biking
