On April 27th, 2021, our lives changed forever when we learned our daughter, Nylah Gigi, no longer had a heartbeat at 38 weeks + 4 days. Stillborn, Still born, Still Loved.In her memory, we have worked to support charities that help families through grief, previously fundraising for Aching Arms & SANDS. We took a break over the past two years as we focused on our wedding in April, but now we’re back — with improvements, fresh energy & so much excitement to continue this tradition for Nylah.
This year, we are proud to be raising money for Strongmen, a charity dedicated to supporting men’s mental health after loss. As basketball has always been Nylah’s dad’s passion, the Nylah Gigi Memorial Tournament is our way of combining love, community, and sport to honor her memory.
The tournament is a day of togetherness & remembrance, with all funds raised going towards hosting the event and supporting Strongmen, ensuring more men get the support they need and deserve.
